Hey all, if you can find the time please report your server crashes through this form instead. This allows us to easily compile our gathered info :) . This is only for crashes, not for other 'server down'-issues.

New patch is nice, but the client crashes to desktop are still as common as ever. Couldn't get through one round of Omaha Beach before crashing twice and just giving up.

A crash happend in another server , its not VG server but i thought this may help improuve the game to post it here:

It was running omaha map and i jumped out from main spawn boat then swimed to a floating tank and when i jumped from water to the top of the tank the server crashed.

Hope this can help a bit.

About why Burning Sands 32 crashs.

@Melon:

The gb_jep_panther gunner is using an objects.ai that isn't completed. It missing all the controllinfos, so the whole ai dont even accept the objects.ai template.

There exist a secondary objects.ai for the Crow weaponsystem that is finished but has a different name.

Exchange 

ObjectTemplate.aiTemplate mg_gunner_crows_5020_ai

to 

ObjectTemplate.aiTemplate turret_gunner_crows_5020_ai

and the Panther is fixed and Burning Sands also.

PR Devteam is informed. 

 

Edit : Us crow humvee has the same problem.

We had a server crash on Omaha Beach yesterday sorry forgot to record the time but we were doing ok, with 22+ players, actually capped the beach and the first bunker before it crashed. Hard to tell whether it was due to smoke on the water bug (has that been fixed yet?) or something else. I did manage to win a match on Omaha but on another Coop server so before we add this one to the nerfed map list lets give it a decent try out.

Played it today on VG server. Round was won by tickets and lasted around 1.5 hour. Problem was though such that around half the round, out of roughly 25 players, almost 20 got CTD at the same time.

CtD after loading Khamisiyah when "Verifying files" promt appeard. Usually it would turn into the Join Server button, but just crashes to desktop. Playerbase dropped from 30 to 9 so more were affected. I did a restart via the panel.

 

Edit: Just ran Khami ALT after the manual reboot. Same issue again.

Don't run Khamisiyah ALT - it crashes the PR client!

We finished Omaha Beach today. That map has a 100% chance for me of crashing (n=3, which is a little low). Seems to be that a lot of ppl crash at the same time on this map. And performance is outragesly low on this map for everyone.

shijia valley inf. south city flag there is still a spawn point for bots in the 3d floor in the building where bots spawn and dying instantly. The flag is bugged or something   its almost impossible to capture the flag

Yeah, asked the devs to lower the view distance quite a bit, will see if they do.

 

Also considered putting this in for memes.

Thank you for the report! Added to Disabled Maps List (correct me if wrong, I assume ALT is the 32 layer)
 

mapList.append khamisiyah gpm_coop 32

This one was bad because it was a Starter Map, could be the first map on server restart, resulting in chaos.

The bots spawn clipped into the wall and die. But their wounded bodies still count towards contesting the flag until they go dead dead. The only way to cap that flag is to have people camp that spawn with grenades and toss them on dead bodies to make the bodies go dead dead so you can cap. This really needs to be fixed.

Apparently I was 1 of them that was doing it since one of the dead spawn was in the cap zone. Didn't really help much since its an old issue (seem not yet fixed).

 

Oh yeah, Omaha Beach still have massive CTD. Played the 2nd time for me.

Yes as @=VG= m823us and myself observed today Omaha Beach is definitely bugged in that once you get to Vierville Sur Mer the rate of CTD rises dramatically. Its a great map otherwise.

Asad khal ALT North Village flag is neutral always. bugged. can't be captured. we tried occupied village it was all good we captured it. then we moved back to north village but its not caping. bugged or something.

Karbala STD is working again folks, this should make @=VG= Skitalezhappy. The server did crash about half way through the map so its not perfect but at least its not crashing immediately.

Bamyan STD NEEDS some tanks or something else- even with a nearly full server and good cas we can't get past the checkpoint. Give us tanks and it would be fine,
