  1. Yeah you're right Colbalt, I just checked this out on my laptops, and PR will not let me join the same server, I get a error message, "Wrong CD-Hash" something like that. But I can login to a different PR server on one laptop and also login to a different PR server on the other laptop using the same internet connection. I just assumed I could the same server. I even tried a new PR account and same error. I'm not going to do an install of BMS to see whether this is a thing so if someone wants to test that out be my guest. Vanilla suggested using a VPN which might work, don't know I don't have an account.
  2. They should be able to create a static IP address for each computer and connect that way, I can connect to the PR servers on two separate computers using the same internet connection, never tried it with the BMS server but I imagine it could be done.
  3. No problem that's your bloody image that you gave me to use to set my BMS configuration!!!
  4. Hi Bamma, It could be those JanHans models that are affecting it or you could have one of the configuration settings out. Have a look and see that Same Acdata Files Required' is unchecked as below, and get back to us.
  5. If you did something like this on the Falklands Map I'd be real interested. So would Sem, I bet!
  6. Daniel and myself are flying BMS this coming Saturday and possibly Sunday. I'm in South Australia so we're hoping to meet up from 9:00 ZULU and fly a few sorties. Its been 3 months since I last flew BMS so I'll be a little rusty. If you want to join us meet up in TS this Saturday 28th.
  7. Sounds like Ranger's provider could be throttling his internet connection, apparently if a VPN increases your speed that's usually a good indicator. I've tried a VPN for a month and it actually slows my speed down.
  8. He got that from my speedtest.net results. According to this page the Veterans IP address is coming from the data center in Nuremberg. Not sure which server that would be on the speedtest.net page so just picked one.
  9. I set up a static IP address and port forwarded my router specifically for Project Reality, that takes a wee bit of time to setup but I find it is more stable and reliable. "Routers were not designed to allow incoming network requests and some games can play tremendously better if an incoming connection is forwarded through the router to the game ". quote from this page on port forwarding". You add the following ports for Battlefield 2 TCP Ports 4711, 27901, 28910, 29900, 299 UDP Ports 1500-4999, 16567, 27900, 29900 I used the following link to help me set that up but there are other threads on the net that go into more detail if you need it. https://portforward.com/battlefield-2/
  10. Have you done a speed test to the server? This is what my connection speeds are like from Adelaide to Veterans Server:
  11. Haha yeah I did own up....eventually but you cant hear me cause I only record my voice when I talk in squad chat.
  12. For those who missed this event I recorded the first map, Muttrah City from Hater's Squad perspective. Enjoy. Loved the Carrier that was renamed USS Vincent in honor of Vinny.
  13. Very sorry to read this sad news, Vincent was such a fun guy to play PR with, always laughing and joking around. When this happens it makes your own issues seem trivial. Rest in peace brother.
  14. On Charlies Point, I'm pretty sure I saw a bunch of Bots spawning then dying immediately on the backside of the hill where we usually attack the Airbase from. Can anyone else confirm?
  15. Well I've got bad news for you too, it doesn't matter whether I'm hiding behind an obstacle or standing out in the open, the green square that is usually present when I laze is not always there. I know its a bug and I made a comment on the PR forums but they ignored it due to the fact that the devs are only interested in whether the lase does not stick to a vehicle when it goes behind a building. Anyway just reporting that this latest update has not fixed that bug.
  16. GTLD laser still does not show up on screen when lazing a target, very random.
  17. You get your wings from this restaurant, special delivery. https://www.yelp.com/biz/top-gun-restaurant-fallon-2
  18. I assumed we would be able to create squads on the day but if we need to formally declare a Squad Leader position, I'll volunteer to lead one of them Keed. Question: How many in a squad? D 'Oh I just read its 8. Question 2: What kits do we have access to? Squad Call Sign: Alpha Group
  19. That's very generous of you Sandstorm, Death has a Thrustmaster HOTAS 4, so if anyone has a profile or keyfile that will help him get airborne quicker that would be appreciated.
  20. Was on last night. We've got =VG= Deathdealer gearing up to play Falcon 4.0 BMS.
  21. How about tomorrow night? So that will be 12:30am here which is 14:00 ZULU I think. Should online all night.
  22. Found a nice video on Youtube of someone doing a great job of VTOL on a carrier with a Harrier in DCS. Nice vertical landing from the side at : 12:34, perfect example.
  23. Ran All Kashan Desert maps including INF version and no issues. So far no crashes today.
