  1. Great ideas nonetheless, ok how about this scenario for Coop? Take the Goose Green map and develop a Harrier vs Mirage map, pure Air to Air combat only. Some of the best dogfights I've had in PR have been on the Falklands Vehicle Warfare maps, it is awesome when you can fly against 10+ jets, pure chaos but a helluva lot of fun!
  2. The last time I looked its the PR Devs who make decisions about these things. Have you asked Melon and FastJack about these ideas they should know whether they'd fly excuse the pun. There was talk of players being able to fast rope from choppers in PR, still waiting for that welcome addition.
  3. To be honest this PR server has not changed that much since I came here. Players come and go, VG members also come and go, so there's no recipe that will make our server the "perfect" environment. Singling out admins because they don't quite fit your own "sense" of how PR should be played is a pretty subjective thing to do. It takes all sorts to run a team, squad and its not going to suit everyone on EVERY map or situation. As far as I know those players Sciddles complained about have not broken any rules, until they do its unfair to imply that they do not deserve to be here. We have a competent team of admins who are answerable to our admin guidelines which are comprehensive, and we look into any "serious" complaints about our admins but please check your opinions against our rules before you accuse other players of "un-acceptable" behaviour. Our rules cover most in game incidents that occur but admins also have more information that helps them to make decisions about situations that fall into grey areas. We are all brothers in arms, lets just get on with it and play the game. Cheers.
  4. Nice, how does that curved screen feel in BMS? I'm thinking about buying one.
  5. I'm a laptop guy but this one is also a gaming laptop with 16GB of RAM with an AMD Ryzen 5, a 28" 284E5QHAD/75 Phillips Monitor 1920 x 1080, HDMI. I use the laptop's 17" screen to extract my RWR, MFDs, DED, and PFL displays, they are superimposed over a desktop screen shot of the F-16 UFC. Believe it or not, that Stick and Throttle is bolted to the desk!
  6. Gaming laptop with Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS.
  7. Fair enough, that's one of the problems of PVP games, we need twice the players. Maybe post a few of the earlier Squad events movies we did?
  8. Welcome back Jersans. Like Acro suggested re-install the latest version its quicker than updating.
  9. On Jabal STD if they make it to East Beach and you don't kill them they will stay there, according to Melon's other post that's what bots do. In that situation if you kill them at East Beach you are effectively putting them back into circulation and they'll re-spawn at a flag that has not been capped/neutralized, same thing at Point Look Out, Charlies Point, if you kill those bots they'll be re-spawning somewhere else.
  10. I don't think that's a bug, it happens on most maps once you cap enough of them. That happens on Jabal when the bots are walking towards say East Beach and you cap Bridge and/or dam, kill them and they wont respawn or go there.
  11. Sorry to hear that buddy, wanna chat? Message me, otherwise be well my friend.
  12. Here's a handy link for new players to read before they hit a PR server generally, the original thread is 5 years old but still relevant. https://www.realitymod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134819 The second port of call should be our own page for the server rules: https://veterans-gaming.com/index.php?/server-rules-project-reality-co-op/ And finally the manual: https://www.realitymod.com/manual/en/
  13. That really sux for CAS pilots but I luv it!
  14. Skit, I think its too easy when the server is full for sure but I play a lot when the server is below 10, even with 20 players they sometimes struggle on a map like Fallujah, so it depends on who's on and the numbers IMO.
  15. Something wrong with the rar file? It looks a bit small 340KB?
  16. You won't really know what you want to do until you try it out so its probably a good idea to do some short courses in Web Development, Networking or Basic Programming. The creative types tend to get into Web Design, Networkers tended to be hands on technicians who like connecting and trouble shooting hardware, programmers are the guys who build the programs for business. These are generalizations but these days its handy to know something across all three streams, there is a demand for Networkers who can also program due to the need for more cyber-security. I was an Electrician before I went back to school (TAFE) at the age of 35 and got into IT. I started with Web Development, got bored with that after 15 years and switched over to the "dark side", and did a Bachelor in Information Technology (Software Development) at 57. The problem with IT is that you never stop learning and its almost impossible to keep up. If you like reading and studying IT is for you, the money is not bad too.
