    4. The VideoSettings.setResolution should be the same as your normal Display resolution and refresh rate in Hz. My normal resolution is 4k@60Hz so it looks like this:

      If you have a FullHD Display @60Hz use 1920x1080@60hz.
    5. Save the file
    6. If the resolution was not the same start the game and check if it helped.

    If you need more support do this:

     Start the PR launcher, click "Support" and copy and paste everything in the Support Info field. Looks like this:

    MAJOR COOP ISSUE:

    COOP Server browser shows only Deployment servers. As of now COOP servers might only be accessed via IP. Since our server needs to update I cannot test this workaround.

    This issue has been reported around 6h before this post on the official bug forum and addressed by Project Lead Mineral. Please do not open more threads about this issue. For further info see: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=149589

     

    We can only hope for a hotfix soon. I do not understand how this bug made its way into the release. This is not a payed for product and rushing out new versions is really not necessary.

    It has been a long time coming: it's finally time for the 39th major release of PR:BF2 - v1.6! The Project Reality modification for Battlefield 2 is now in its 16th year of ongoing development and this new update is a big one.

    With the release of v1.6 right around the corner we wanted to share a preliminary list of all new features, new assets, improvements and fixes. The major addition with v1.6 is of-course the WW2 theater of war being added with fully equipped US and German Forces playable on 5 new maps. What once started as a mini-mod for PR will now be fully integrated into PR:BF2. Next to that we also introduce some new vehicles for other factions as well as a brand new map, countless other improvements, fixes and new features. Read all the details below!

  4. Cheers for the input guys!

    I am very aware of BMS and it's advantages. I found the DCS F/A18 just more appealing with NAVOPS and carrier landings. The one big goal I am striving for is multi crew in the F14. This is part of the reason why I opted for DCS and the Hornet.

    I will jump into BMS when my free time permits me to do so. :)

    The guidelines state that we need a min of 10 admins/instance. I don't think we are quite there yet. Could we host a non-licenced server to check the hardware specs and then, when the tech groundwork has been laid out we could apply for a licence.   6. I played SQUAD yesterday. I made it to the squad selection screen before quitting. There were 8/9 locked squads. 2 one man heli squads (two helis available), one IFV/BRDM squad driving a T90, one one man BRDM squad locked conducting deep operations far away from any cap and some inf squads.

    I feel the playerbase needs more servers with a proven ruleset. I'd be down to read into the admin stuff.

    One thing that might bring us more popularity in the squad community right away would be to host workshop mods like the aussie mod. There are always people looking for servers but none stay up for long. If we would to fill that niche we could implement the PR legacy ruleset with a kind of good minded monopoly like we enjoy in PR COOP. If there will be more servers popping up we would still have a dedicated and fair server culture that has been popular in COOP for quite some time.

    	Once @=VG= Melon Muncher learns UnrealEngine and creates a highly sophisticated machine learning AI for SQUAD, PR will die. Once that happens we are prepared for the first official SQUAD COOP VG Server. :)

    Looking at prices for high quality HOTAS mounts, sticks, grips, throttles, pedals (ex), buttons, MFDs and so on I regret not taking the CNC route in Highschool. The simmer community will import products from China or Lithuania because apparently there is a huge gap between products from mass producing companies like logitech or thrustmaster and small shops like virpil or ch products.
