    BRIEFING: Training, training training. The new DLC introduced a new mission 'Mike Force' which we have been running the last few weeks. There are new modules and buildings and snakes and trees so we should get together and transfer knowledge in our community.

    The situation on the ground will be determined by progress of the mission.

    SIGN-UP: I would like to have key roles filled to ensure fluid gameplay. However, additional spots are free for all. There is no limit as to which role anyone can take.

  2. Thanks for your replies! Personally I don't really like the practice because there is little to no opposition to a hovering harrier, unlike there would for a CAS heli in the same place. 

    Bots don't shoot their small arms at jets and neither do BMPs or Tanks with bigger guns.

    Like skiddles said, those things are loud and disorienting which doesn't really help the Inf either.

    As far as I am aware melon did try to implement bots shooting their AT at Harriers but that doesn't seem to be active anymore or never made the cut.

    Since the vote is 50/50 split I assume there is no call for action to be made here. 🙂

    That might be entirely a mission bug. Alternatively you could try to bring an Ammo Truck or Fuel Truck (ask Green Hornets for airlifts) close to the shore and rearm/refuel that way. Since it's a Arma vehicle entity it should work.

    Same here! Once you go C you can never go back. CTRL is the furthest key away while still being in reach. It doesn't make sense. It's like using 0 on numpad for squad mic... *shudder*

    Jumped the gun on a AMD Ryzen chip last week, after being an Intel kid my entire life.

    I am very happy with my purchase. AMD is on a steady course and with the latest generation CPU they are hitting it out of the park. Single Core performance (what gamers need) is stellar and objectively ahead of Intel. I would like to see Intel wake up from their market share induced hibernation and bring innovation back into their portfolio. Competition is good for us.

    If this is the situation, than yes it's a problem. However, given the nature of the most popular maps played on the server I feel that this shouldn't happen too often, as there are usually 2+ Logis or Trans available as alternative sources for boxes.

    For those cases where supplies are being hogged or not productively distributed our admins should step in and moderate either by communicating or using admin commands.

    @topic: Personally I wouldn't have a issue with 2 man locked squads if the job is being done. However I can see that it would be a loophole for some edgy players out there.

  7. Players come and go. That's perfectly normal. Everyone has their own "good old times", either when they started or when they were most invested into the game.

    Right now, there are people online that experience the game for the first time and might think "Wow, this is amazing!". They don't care about the map or the layer. They have no idea where the quad guns are. Hell, they might not even know what CAS means. They just have fun experiencing new gameplay.

    Old frogs grow bitter. I've seen it many times. Happened with me too.

    All players have to do is join the server via launcher. Everything will be downloaded on its own. No manual fiddling needed, if TFAR is already set up. It's by far the easiest and most user friendly automatic mod distribution system in the world. Download speeds might be an issue, but in a world with 60+ GB games it is not a lot to ask for a 6GB download especially if the content is free.

    However, if the mod is being added for the sake of being added then it's a waste on everyones hard drive. What can X do better that we cannot do with Y? Right now I don't see a lot of reasons.

  9. CUP and RHS don't mix well with each other. In my understanding RHS uses a custom damage model for vehicles as well as different ammunition damage.

    That means in combat you either need more or less rounds to skill stuff. On top of that lots of assets are redundant by being listed twice in the arsenal, which makes getting ready for combat more complicated and longer.

    In regards to pr opfor - since it's a addon to RHS it should play ok combined with RHS. Although, I couldn't find any information as of what it actually adds. It says 100+ vehicles but the promo screenshots only show reskins and soldier fashion... 🤔It just inflates the arsenal imho.
