  1. I was driving that tank, Sydney did the shooting. It really depends on pilot's flying stile and skill level. Slow and low flying jets are an easy target for armored vehicles who can take them down pretty quickly with their cannons. Inf equipment doesnt pack enough punch to take down a jet tho, unless you hit it with AT rockets.
  2. Don't need any official patches. All that needs to be done is to upload the maps to dropbox or somewhere, people would have to download them and then drop them over to the levels folder. The same with TC admin. Just gonna upload the maps over there and done. Piece of cake. My idea was to have the mappack running on the server on every few weekends after the campaign, with a week ahead notice.

  4. Only 3 factions have the paratrooper options atm - US, Russia and Germany. I'm personally not in favour of having those factions on a normal map as it would be too easy to abuse by skipping enemy's defences by just flying over them. About testing : Testing will be done in a controlled enviornment (campaign) that shall be launched once the maps are ready. After that, a feedback section will be opened where people can post the bugs / issues they found with the maps and to add suggestions. Once those errors have been fixed, the pack shall be released.
  5. First of all, Event Factory apologizes for lack of PR events lately as we have been busy with other projects. But finally Factory is at full production, so to feed people's curiosity, here's an update on progress done so far. New/Old maps Event Factory has been working on converting old PR 0.95 mappack maps with addition of some vanilla BF2 maps over to the current version of PR and even though some of the maps still require polishing, they are playable. The maps currently done are : Street 2 Op. Clean Sweep Hills of Hamgyong Helmands Field / -Return sunset City Op. Road Rage Great Wall Op. Phoenix Al Kufrah Oilfield Road to Jalalabad Wake Island In addition to the mappack maps, Event Factory has been working on two sets of COOP campaigns featuring mappack maps and modified PR maps. Also the PvP events are being produced. Special Thanks to : PR Dev team for allowing us to use / change the maps Sydney, Double, m823us for helping to test the maps.     !admins command

    Any admin wishing to get the admins list, let me know and I'll send it to you. The list is currently for admins only.
  8. It could be that your Minecraft isn't getting enough RAM to be able to survive for long on servers with loads of machines running at the same time. Go to your AT launcher - Settings - Java/minecraft tab and check how much max RAM usage is allowed. It should be at least over 2gb in order for the modded minecraft to stay active.

    Too easy to abuse and from what I know, the bot list doesn't work atm.

  12. Switch command is also moved up to the highest level as there's no need for it since Melon put some kind of smart bot balance in, denying anyone of joining the bot team.
  13. Thank you all who joined! I personally had a blast observing the fight from above and I hope you guys had fun as well. Congratulations Team Blue for the victory with final score 2 wins out of 3. The start was a bit hectic and messy to get people on the correct teams on which I take the blame for doing testing stuff too late and releasing maps without proper checkups, causing to make patches. Fortunately, Lady PR was on our side during the event and server stayed mostly stable and didn't crash. Special Thanks to Sydney for helping out with the maps, roster and ingame stuff.   14. Mapvote got moved to the highest admin level a while ago as it's damn useless command and causes server crashes every 8 times out of 10. !admins should work for everyone except regular players and light admins. All available admin commands are listed on PR admin HQ teamspeak channel

  17. Hi again, As some of you have probably already noticed, I managed to F up quite a few of the assets on the maps. I'm gonna upload a small fix for that. To install it, simply put server.zip into your grozny folder. (NOT Assault_on_grozny!!!!!!!!!!!!!). When asked to overwrite, click yes. Click Here
  18. Hi chaps, Sorry for such a delay, but my internet went wild yesterday and therefore I wasn't able to finish the upload. I'll post the maps in an hour or so, after I have managed to set them up on the server. Also, me and editor program had a massive fight yesterday while trying to fix the flag issue, meaning that we are forced to use vanilla flag layouts and therefore removing capture the flag winning condition. Some of the maps have few static weapon systems (at /aa guns) and light vehicles like techies laying around. Players are NOT allowed to use any other vehicle than in what they have signed up OR that's been provided by the observer. The winning condition will be - the first team to collect 50 points (may be changed, depending on how the first round goes) wins. Earning the points is simple : 1. A kill earns the team 1 point 2. Killing the enemy command tank earns the team 10 points. Also the teams are going to be shuffled a bit to balance them out. The final list will be given prior to the event start.   19. I believe we did use it back in the day, but it turned out to be unreliable and often moved people from temp ban list to permanent or didn't work at all, causing a lot of headache for the admins.

  22. it's not too hard to get the old maps to run actually. Sure, they can be buggy as hell if you dig too deep ingame, but all in all it's playable. The biggest problem is to get the maps. The mappack was released 3-4 years ago and it's next to impossible to find it now as it has long been removed from official sources. If anyone has any of the old maps, please send them over so I can convert them for the latest PR . Special cookie to whoever sends me Street 2
