Quite sure it takes whichever dovre is higher up in the maplist. Winter should be always after the summer version for the command to work.

Sling loading has already been done by some of the PR contributers and devs with some rather amusing results. (Can't find the vid atm). And as for the rearming CAS in the field - yea don't see it ever happening in PR. CAS is already op as it is. I believe there were some thoughts about giving osprey the repair stations like logis do, but I think that idea got thrown in a bin as it would make US unbalanced on maps with osprey.

I'd reduce the range of quads back to what they used to be or increase the diviation. Some of the smaller maps, with helis only, are unplayable for the pilots, especially when cas is bad and doesn't deal with the AA. Kind of starts to get annoying to either get sniped out or shot down with the first burst that comes out from bvr and there's nothing you can do about it but to sit in main for over an hour. And what the hell did You do with the ins scorpions? Man, those things are insane. I've seen one guy walk in a room full of friendlies, open up with full auto and whipe out an entire squad -
Project Reality update 1.6.4.0 has been announced Highlights : 3 new maps (Adak, Icebound & Hiberna). It's possible to change pretty much everything, from the spawn locations to moving flags and strategic areas, server side. Only thing stopping it is the infamous PR server licence. We have had some lenience in the past when the licence wasn't so strict like it is now & having 2 R-Devs in the clan, so we did test out things some years ago like having 1/3 of the bots skipping the flags on muttrah and rushing docks instead, IFVs shooting jets & sniping tanks with ATGMs, bot inf using smoke and grenadiers firing IR smoke at armour etc. I mean, if we had free hands to do things, then holy whacko, the amount of changes one could do to a map. Hell, just moving the mortars alone can cause havoc for unprepeared team. Meeellloonnn, convince Mineral to give us the freedom to do things plssssssss. No one cares about COOP anyways, as they all say on the PR Forums.

Server is up and running the briefing map. If you have admin on the server, do not change maps. Do not capture the flags. Password : final Edit : I didn't manage to finish the factions properly, so we will most likely have issues joining mid round like last time. If you plan on playing, try to be on the server before we start. People who couldn't join due to VAC ban last time should be able to now. I highly recommend disabling the new LOD settings to minimize the chances of getting memory errors mid round.

Thanks. It's not about that, you guys have been great and I don't mind citicism, it's what helps us improve after all. I appreciate honesty over blind praise. If something is trash then it's good when people point it out. It's just one of those stupid random moments that comes and goes every now and then.

Project Reality Event Week IV (Final) 21.11.2020 1900 PRT Download : Click Here (download mirror 2: click here) Password : final The final part of the campaign. This one will have 4 maps, so the event starts an hour earlier than it used to, at 1900 PRT. This event won't have any sign ups, but will feature multiple factions on the BLUEFOR side like on previous event. It would be awesome, if the squad members would stick to the same faction theme in squads. 1. Situation After weeks of brutal fighting, coalition forces have made steady progress deeper into Iranian mainland and US marines have opened up a second front at the Brandar province. At 2200 hours local time, US spy satellite detected a radiation source at the thought to be abandoned power plant just 400 km away from Iranian capital. Further study revealed a shocking truth - The old powerplant has been repurposed as a nuclear research & missile launch centre and radiation originates from the silos built underground. All evidences suggest that Iran has managed to construct a functional nuclear weapon and is planning on putting it to use as a last desperate measure against the advancing coalition forces. It is unclear where they intend to target, but the most likely target would be the coalition naval taskforce at the Gulf of Oman. Without that fleet, coalition forces would rapidly run out of supplies and be forced to retreat. Deteriorating weather conditions make a percice airstrike impossible. At 0300 hours local time, rapid response force consiting of French Commandos Marine, German KSK, US Delta Force and Polish GROM is deployed behind enemy lines. 2. Missions : 2.1. Mission 10 : Lights out (Original map op_atom by spfreak & sweeper69) German KSK and US Delta Force are tasked to infiltrate and take out the early warning system installed in a military base near the nuclear station. 2.2. Mission 11 : 96 minutes (original map Temelin by Rusty_42) Iranian forces launched the nuclear missile before the commandos could arrive. French Commandos Marine & Polish GROM are tasked to capture the nuclear launch site and take over the control room before the missile can reach the coalition naval task force. The expected impact is within 96 minutes. 2.3. Mission 12 : Unnamed Heroes (original map Temelin by Rusty_42) Weather conditions have cleared and an authorisation has come in from the High Command - The facility must be destroyed at all costs. B2 stealth bombers have taken off and are en reute to deliver the payloads. Out of supplies and surrounded by Iranian forces, the commandos make their last stand trying to draw in as many Iranian forces as they can. 2.4. Mission 13 : Epilogue - a month later A month has passed since the attack on the nuclear station and the heroic sacrifice made by the commandos in order to save the fleet. With the Iranian last desperate plan foiled, coalition forces were able to continue their push and within a month most of the Iranian forces had surrendered. The remaining Iranian forces loyal to Mohhamed Al Bajuri have bunkered themselves in the city of Qazvin. Coalition forces have surrounded the city and French forces with the aid of the British Royal Air Force and the US 33rd Armoured Regiment are moving in to capture Al Bajuri and end the conflict. Assets : 1 x M1A2 Abrams 2 x 50. Cal Stryker 1 x Command Stryker 3 x Troop Transport (French) 1 x Eurofighter 3. Rules 3.1. Standard VG server rules

Yes, the spawns were supposed to be behind the lines to simulate the "surrounded" situation, I just completely forgot about it and was somewhat surprised as well . Hell, I still can't remember doing that for the entire map. I remember doing it for the first 2 flags, but after that, completely blank. I assume the spawns got screwed when the game had a brainfart because of too much stuff on the map. I didn't expect the static amount to be so high otherwise I could have easily deleted half the stuff on the map. It's one of the things you don't think about all the time and just can't really test beforehand on an empty server. As for the dod, not sure why the tanks decided to go off map, I placed all the "interest" points for them on the main street, so I have no idea what was so interesting on the other streets that they decided to go there instead. They should have gone after the assets when they went active, like on the previous event maps. Could be connected to the overloaded statics giving the game a brainfart like it did for the spawns. I'm more interested where did the BMP3 and the El-Beasto go. I didn't see nor hear them the entire round.

Sorry about this one guys, I may have made the maps a bit too hard. hope you still had somewhat fun overall tho. As I won't be able to attend next week, instead of part 4 of the event there will be a redo of the second and third map of this event next Saturday at the same time. I'll set up the stuff on the server prior to that so all that is needed is someone pressing the button. (I think Melon volunteered if I'm not mistaken.) Yeah, sorry about that. I may have placed a bit too much stuff into the city for the game to handle it midway through.

Hi there. A quick reminder that event is today. Since we are running with a lot of modified stuff, there won't be any vanilla maps being run prior to the event this time and we will start with a custom map on a briefing mode. Please, do not leave the main bases when you join the server and please DO NOT pick the last 3 kits on the spawn menu if you didn't sign up. Before we start the event, I will quickly go over the rules for this event at the vehicle depot so please try to be on the server at least 5 minutes before event is supposed to begin. Password will be released 30 minutes prior to the event.
