Wow man you should take a breather before you snap!! From what I've seen though it looks awesome!! Is there anything I can help with testing-wise? Porting shouldn't be too hard to do as long as there isn't a lot of map-specific stuff. I'll give it a go when I have some extra time. -

Finally got to check out the latest version yesterday (0.89 I think?) and it looks great... you guys have done a really good job!! All VG Arma players really need to hop on and check this out!! Edit: Semler have you thought about porting this to other maps as well? Is there a lot of map-specific customization? I'm thinking there are a few other maps where this mission would be awesome (NGS_Capraia, Emita City (urban fun!!), Hells Kitchen (Sangin))

I think you just have to fire up the game and get to the main menu.. doing this adds the proper registry keys or something and then you can run Combined Ops which has the content of both games. Also make sure you run the verify thing under both games. If you still get the 'bad serial in setup' error then you might have to contact Steam support. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1862823

Do you have the Steam version of Arma? If so make sure you are running Steam as an administrator then go into your Library, right-click on Arma game, Properties, Local Files, Verify Game Cache. Also once you are past this make sure you are running Arma Combined OPs (not Arma 2 only or Arma 2 OA only). You can do this by running Arma 2 once, Arma 2 OA once, then in Steam library right-click on Arma 2 OA and select Launch Arma 2 Combined Operations. This will merge the content of both games into one. You can also use an Arma launcher program to do this (advised if you also use mods).

It's like Terremer said.. it's their DRM crap that prevents this. The only way to restore is from a Steam backup (which is no different than moving your steamapps folder back... except then you are a HACKER!!!).

All you NEED is Arma2 and OA. If both are installed you can combine them somehow (Combined Ops). The PMC and BAF expansions are optional (better textures on these items). As for mods.. there are like a billion. Currently we are playing with a map called CLAfghan. You'll want to look at client-side mods like Blastcore (visuals) and JSRS (sounds) that really improve the game. If you are going to play with mods a lot I recommend getting an 'Arma Launcher' (there are a few) for managing mods and keeping them up to date. Just hop on teamspeak and we can get you going...
