  3. Melon - is the server not working through TCAdmin? Bills should all be paid in full. I don't think it will be a problem for you guys to get admin lord knows we need more :)

  6. I'm hoping an ACE update will be out on Friday which will fix that. We have to use the beta version in order for the HC to work (and for the new version of MSO to work!!) @NV - I did increase the AI numbers last night - convoy frequency from low to high - more AI spawn locations - CQB populator is set at 40% (max is 50%) I notice a few people are still joining with the wrong version of CBA (you need @CBA_CO with the beta): B CO 2/113 INF Skydiver
  7. ok...back to stable branch (BETA) now.. can't wait for some decent missions to show up edit: sorry i must have fucked something up it's still on DEV build.. and server is full ATM might leave it for a day and see... if it stays full I'll leave it on DEV Thoughts? I've left it on DEV build and server is pretty populated.. .should I leave it for now?
  8. *** password issue fixed *** MSO server is now running BETA version of ArmaOA and is setup with the headless client. It's still a bit quirky and if the HC gets reset crashes I'll have to manually log in and start it up again. In fact if the HC crashes it will probably fuck up the server as well since all (most of) the AI run on the HC. Enemy params are cranked up so be careful :) I'm just using a stock MSO mission on Takistan for testing. ** Do not run STHUD for the moment it screws up ACE interaction ** Six Updater repo link: sixupdater://debian.veterans-gaming.com/~six/six_repo/msoHC.yml @CBA_CO; @ACE; @ACEX; @JayArma2Lib; @ACRE; @ACEX_USNavy; @ACEX_RU IP is 5.9.23.136 port 2322 password = vg If you are manually starting Arma be sure to run the BETA as well as @CBA_CO only (don't need the other 3 with beta) Also the HC is using my name somehow haven't found out how to fix that.. so if you see another SavageCDN on the server don't panic PLEASE make sure you are running the latest BETA version for Combined Operations and you are loading the proper CBA addons. Failing to do so will cause issues with ACE and other weirdness. In Six-updater all you need to do is add the expansion/beta mod (it's at the bottom of the mod list) - it will put the right CBA mods in as well.
  9. From Whiztler: We had a great MSO session last night with 6-9 players. Since the latest ACE updates, certain things seem to be broken. Not sure if this is MSO, ACE or other mods that cause this. But here's the report nonetheless :) 1. MEDICAL - Players cannot heal other players. They CAN heal themselves though. 2. Shacktack JOIB GROUP - This seems to be buggy, Only worked for 1 player last night. Hmmmm... since the last ACE update you say? I will check the server again and make sure all mods are up to date perhaps it's something simple. I am ready to test the HC with a 'stock' MSO mission on Takistan... maybe today or tomorrow. If all goes well I can start updating our version to support it. This will be a good time to test those issues you reported with ACE - then we'll know if it is the mission or not. edit: might be latest ACE and STHUD conflicting.. from BIS forums: Myself and 4 others playing on a dedicated server could not interact with each other for medical issues. When we removed the SThud from our presets, the medical interaction worked fine. We love the STHud and would love to know how to get it to work with this. For the record, there was no issue with the SThud and the ace interact before the update for us. We also tried with and without the arma beta. We need a fix for this ASAP. StHud is one of the most critical addons ever released, I just don't want to stop using it now. Even though I disabled it I look at the bottom of my screen every ten seconds only to notice its not there anymore.   10. Server is running DEV branch now which basically means BETA. Customized DAP Insurgency mission now running.. please post any feedback or issues.
  11. I installed the beta version of OA on the MSO server today (you do not need the beta to join the server). If it runs OK for a few days I'm thinking of trying out the newer 4.6 version of MSO which includes some improvements and the ability to run the Headless Client.

Rofl those messages about domi and not being able to livestream it..thats kinda ridiculous also, the nvg, flocc, stance indicator and compass mods i had werent accepted, but i havent downloaded the pack in a long time so im not sure if they might be out of date or something. I'm not sure.. do you know what is involved to make it work?

  15. So initial tests were pretty successful I'd say. For our JointOp planning I am putting together a guide for making missions using the HC. In reality that guide is already written by someone else, I'll just be adding my own notes, etc over the next week or so. http://debian.veterans-gaming.com/~six/HCtutorial.pdf Basically it comes down to having to spawn the AI units on the HC instead of the server. I've only tested it with DAC so far and it comes down to having the DAC zones created by script instead of actual triggers, etc in the editor. I have not tried UPSMON or other scripts (mostly cause I don't know WTF I'm doing !crazy ). I think a good start would be for JointOp mission makers to give this a read and then we can meet up in TS and discuss. I also have some ideas on how our JO mission template should be structured. Of course I'm not a pro at this so if someone has better ideas please speak up!!
  16. The last release for Arma2 MSO is available now (version 4.6RC) - they are just waiting for official 1.63 patch release by BIS. I've fiddled a bit with it... overall better performance and supports the headless client. If there is still enough interest with MSO I'll look at porting over our Reshmaan version.. maybe Whiztler can get his FOBs in now :) Also if you're interested in working on this in any way please let me know.

  18. Ok we'll try again for this week to do some sessions. I am around tonight and Thursday evening, as well as Friday afternoon. I know Castor has a mission already he'd like to test... and Wooz probably has like 200 questions :)

  21. ^ link should still be good but I'll probably have to update some of those mods.. added the key files though so you should be able to join the server with them loaded (after the next server restart). edit: restarted server key files should be working now... please let me know if you cannot join with a certain client-side mod
  22. Server has been updated with today's STABLE patch - no more DEV versions!! I think the player count overall for A3 is pretty low and we won't see much improvement until Beta release.
