SolarFlame =VG= LAN_WROTE ... Holy shit? You set up a TC admin template already? That's awesome. We need to work on making it easy to apply mass updates and stuff, though. Since the server is going to be "rolling release" because its an alpha we should really look into tcadmins server update/upgrade feature. I might open a ticket with them and ask them for a brief overview as documentation is a bit scarce. Yeah I just did a quick and dirty template probably has some things that can be changed. We'll have to scrap the source files anyway once the beta gets released in a month or two. For now we can only run one instance anyway. Is there a way we can setup A3 admins (non-members) as basic users that can only access that game page? @Echo - you wont be able to access the TCAdmin pages yet for the servers - this is only for VG members and a few select server admins. We'll see if we can work something out there.. for now you'll have to join the server to do any admin tasks. Domi mission has an admin slot now in case the server is full.

Defaults have been adjusted please let me know if there are more that should be changed. I've also added some features for the admins to make their jobs a bit easier. - dedicated admin slot under Civilians - will auto-kick after 20 secs unless you login - admins can still login under any slot.. this just gives you a slot when the server is full - once logged in admins will have access to Ghost Mode and Teleport Mode using scroll menu - note that Ghost mode sets you as a captive to the enemy (ie: they won't fire at you), it does not make you invulnerable to bullets or other damage! Mission is up and running now. Also some server admins are reporting stuttering/hiccups during missions. If you notice this please post (saw yours already Reaper)

Latest dev update is client only (phew) *** Arma 3 server is now available to be managed through TCAdmin. *** GameService 35 port 2402 All TCA users should have access to this game service and can restart it if required. For other admins the in-game password is same as before For now it's running Xeno's Domination v2.99 although I'll need to make some changes to that mission to make it =VG= friendly. -added VAS ammo system -added AI suppression scripts Currently there is a limitation where we can only one run instance of the dedicated server.. hopefully this gets fixed soon. Also still no RCON or other remote management tools so kicks/bans will have to be done in-game. I am currently working on an admin slot system for the missions we run on the server which will allow admins to connect even if the server is full.

^let me know what params should be changed and I can edit them to be the defaults Dedicated server is up and running Domination (dev build on port 2402) We can only run once instance of a server at the moment. The bonus is that the game is now setup in TCAdmin so it's easy to restart, etc. Still no RCON tools however...

No apparently the dedicated files have the same issue at the moment.. they are 'working on it'. I have access now to the dedi files and I'm going to do some testing next day or two.

Updated all 3 servers to DEV build - you will need to update your client as well (right-click, properties, updates tab, opt in for Dev build) Added compatible Domination mission to both pub servers (works with Dev build) - private has the ACRE version still I cannot test at work can someone join both pub servers and make sure the mission loads corrrectly?

Reaper LAN_WROTE ... 1) When I am playing in the Insurgency server I am invincible to enemy fire....hmmmm? 2) When playing in the Sandbox Server I cannot respawn with working ammo in my gear.......if I am wounded and get revived it has the same issue. I have all my gear but it acts like I have nothing....hmmm? 3) If these issues are fixable (I understand its just the Alpha etc) can the server settings be adjusted to NOT show enemy positions on the Intel Map.....just a request, if no then no problem :) 1 - this is an issue with the current version of A3 Insurgency we need to wait for the original authors to fix 2 - I think this is fixable with the latest version of VAS (Virtual Ammobox System) - I'll need to update the mission 3 - yes that is Veteran mode... which also disables all map markers and other 'indicators' - much harder on players. I'll check the settings though I think there is a way I can just disable those enemy indicators (assuming the setting actually works in A3 like it does in A2.. not all do) I'm still on the fence with the Dev version. Will it be any different if we stay on Stable version and lock the servers vs going with Dev version and unlocking the servers but not having any players anyway cause no one uses the Dev version? Dev version also does not fix the hacking problem just the spreading of the hack, and comes with it's own issues and instabilities being Dev. They really need to release the dedicated server binaries ASAP... not that this would solve the hacking problem but at least would make managing the servers less painful Thanks for the link for Domi PITN I'll try and get it up on the server today.

Too bad the old man passed out early.. actually can thank the wife for that (wink wink) For next time we should work out a solid game lineup of 4-5 different games and types before the event and make sure everyone has a copy.

From what I've been reading the Dev branch doesn't really solve much and in fact can cause some other issues including breaking existing missions. Also running Dev adds more work for updating, etc, and we may not be able to run the ACRE server on Dev... so I'm a bit hesitant... Thoughts?

Raised the precisionEnemy a bit (0.3) as well as the in-game AI Accuracy parameter (to 0.4 from 0.1). I'm pretty sure it was the precisionEnemy setting that was way too high before (0.8).. causing the headshots. I've also added a requirement for the @tpwcas mod (AI suppression and LOS) to make sure all players have it loaded when joining.. this should help fix the dumb CQB behaviour.

Hard resetting the A3 servers can only be done by a select few members (myself, Poffadder, now SemlerPDX) as it requires us to login to the server itself into a disconnected RDP session. This is soley due to the fact we do not have dedicated Arma3 server files yet... once this happens we can use our regular admin software TCAdmin... meaning there will be a lot more people available to help with things like resets. I've reset Pub2 and Private servers now.... thanks for the report KillALot. I've seen REAPER in the server before I think he is OK. For my own reference: http://pastebin.com/GySP0n2e

New version E is up and running. -Removed rebels and added drug gangs.. they still spawn with FN FALs though. -Lowered AI Accuracy param to 0.1 -changed server's .profile settings for enemy precision -tweaked suppression and ASR_AI mods Not sure what is causing the passing out in spawn menu.. is this happening to everyone and does it happen every time or is it hit and miss? Also there should be civilians spawning in as well... has anyone noticed this yet?
