maybe it makes sense that everyone who plays squad should report here so that we can plan a game together on our new server ... if a few people find together it would be really nice. as far as i know you only use it if you have connected a device to an hdmi/dvi/displayport at your graficcard. if you use analog audio you should use the onboard sound card. often realtek. if you use usb, your headset is the sound card and either has no driver because it is class compliant or has its own driver. But i could also be wrong.

why the nvidia driver? are you using sound via hdmi/dvi? if you use the onboard sound card, have a look if there is another mixer for this...

btw: has something changed with the tickets? khami std and ghost train inf are over much faster than a while ago. a few other maps too...

i cant find the server... it is not displayed under server browser nor under custom browser. //edit: ok got it. first you have to go to filtersection and activate "show empty server" you can break the wheels of a truck with a knife ... you have to stab several times, then you have a flat ^^

hö? powerline and wireless are completely different things. and with both you get completely different results with each device. but it is true that some routers and repeaters have bad antennas and poor management and that such nonsense happens. if you are lucky you can reduce the transmission power of your router and then it will find the repeater better. Another option would be to open a second wifi if the repeater can do a 2nd wifi ... but wifi is out of the question anyway, and of course cable is always the better way.

against the music industry you would also need a damn big pitchfork.^^ Unfortunately, the comic is not a joke (even if it is funny). if you collect music and like more than a handfull of bands you have a problem to stay "legal" in this coutry. but i also didn't want to make a political discussion out of it, just confirm your and fastjacks posts. offtopic:

I don't think 16tb is an exaggeration these days. I have ~ 10tb of films, 1.5tb of music, 1tb of my own projects, 1tb of programs ... of course, everything double for data backup. also space for the system and of course 1-2tb of work space. if you want to cut a film, edit a large db or do something in this direction you also need space. I have 16tb internally and 16tb externally (backup, because I also dont belief in raid for backups) and i dont have enough space for anything. if you have more space, you will use it... but on the other hand, if you dont have much data at the moment you can buy it later... if you are just watching movies and do some office work 8gb are enough. but if you are using cad, c4d, resolve, after effects, or similiar then it happens that you have 16gb completely full. I have never really exhausted the 64GB I have at work, but 32GB are helpful. and i don't do any elaborate things with it but use many effects or several of these programs at the same time.

I would also use a cable for gaming and server applications ... but the technology is also improving. I can play pr over 1mbit with my mobile and have a ping between 30 and 60 ^^ on the other hand i have colleagues playing on their laptops and their network cables are so broken and worn out that wifi would probably be more stable ^^ maybe i would just try a wifi repeater and if that doesn't get it better take it back to the dealer.

true. In Germany the stupid copyright law forces you to do something illegal. just because a couple of idiots want to make more money ... i own thousands of records and collect music but i buy practically nothing new anymore but only second hand because something like that cannot be supported. I also have 1.5TB of music on my computer. and the damage caused by the copyright law is much greater than it would be if this law did not exist. But the money would then go into other hands... meanwhile I'm so pissed off by the music and film industry that I wish them the greatest possible damage and hope that the mass of people will eventually come to the conclusion that more expensive pop cheaply produced garbage is. music by heart and not just because of the production, nothing had to cost. but you have to search for it ... then you hear that the musicians have to live from what ... yes, they can go to work. from the point where you reconcile your "art" with earning money it is no longer art because you automatically no longer do what you have in mind but have to watch that you are selling. that can only be shit.

if i am not completely wrong there is a problem somewhere with the master/mumble server. Maybe it makes sense to post this information on realitymod and see what they say about it.

I only asked him in German because I was concerned with an important detail and I didn't want it to be "lost in translation". he can connect to normal mumble servers. only pr-mumble servers are affected. if i see that correctly this is a problem on the server/realitymod side. or am I wrong? and in this case we can not help but only realitymod ... do you play with the same machine/nickname/hash as years before?

if you use an antivirus suit you could turn it off completely and try. I would look through the options of mumble again and uninstall PR and mumble in the worst case. then clear the hd and registry of remnants and then reinstall PR. but dont install mumble separately or individually... just to summarize again and because you are apparently German: konntest du dich mit gar keinem server über mumble verbinden, gingen generell keine PR-Server oder geht nur der VG-Server nicht? wie lange hast du das problem schon?

then try to deactivate your windows and routerfirewall... if you can join mumble you have to open ports in the firewalls. but re-activate both firewalls after this test!
