  1. declined. you will be punished for deserting. back in line soldier! if you are really leaving, you have to come back! thats an order!
  2. Jap, it was not on the list. We played it in the morning and it worked fine. but as i set muttrah as next map the server gave the message "added to rotation list". dont know if its back on the list now...
  3. networking needs a few math skills... you can of course have everything calculated using "apps" but it makes sense to know how many network addresses are available at 172.0.20.11/24... It's similar with programming. you rarely need math, but you follow a logic similar to math and sometimes have to think in binary logic for hardware-related matters. with java or flash you have less math... So networking needs an understanding of math. programming depending on which language and in which area. internet authoring I think has to do the least with math. but that should perhaps be confirmed by an professional...
  4. Unfortunately, I won't make it today... and if I do, I'll get to it later. ;(
  5. lol if you work 10 meters away from there and that for over 20 years, then that's nothing special anymore. ^^ let's see if there will be "dönninghaus" next year... the 3eck is slowly dying out.
  6. in not sure if you can call a 15 year old game "young man game". I would rather say this is the "old man version" of bf2.^^ anyway dont mess with the number-guy! ;p
  7. lol, why? every other city has more sights or is generally more attractive... you are tougher than i thought..;p and yes, we don't like cyclists. that is the ruhrpott. you need a lowered prollo car or a borrowed BMW.
  8. its not that easy... sure you can chosse maps like muttrah alt or maps that dont start at the water but you have also to change the spawnpoints and movment of the bots. another thing is that the bots have different vehicles. air assets dont need a warmup, they are autorearming without crates or helipads, bots dont need a crewman-kit... so its not that easy. on the other hand you dont need another server for this because if you got templates and maps you can just restart the server and load another maplist. if im not mistaken. if we have two servers for coop the mainproblem is that we divide the serverpopulation. and opfor with 12 player should be very hard. and finally what m8 already said. Many players don't want to play 5 maps in a row without a scope and tend to feel stressed. opfor is similar to some nam maps such as ghost train you start with 35 players and at the end there are 16 left. and then you can only win via tickets, which takes three hours...
  9. sorry but that's not true. germany doesn't have a lot of culture... but the beer culture is pretty big and you won't find better beer anywhere than here. ^^ @=VG= Sausag3: so if you want to see some cool places other countries are better but if you want to get drunk start at germany and move on to the eastern countries^^ if you ask the internet my hometown looks lie this: if you are there, it looks a little bit differend^^: but this helps a lot: ;P
  10. I do. i like the easy maps like muttrah and the real hard one like ghost train where you are locked in this train for half an hour and you can hardly move because otherwise you are dead immediately.
  11. I don't know if that changed with the last update, but before that you had to hurry with the first two flags because otherwise ticket bleeding would occur. if the two flags are taken you can be slaughtered for 4 hours...;p
  12. Flips: unflipping: i dont need a script for that, its hardcoded and works perfekt for 40 years now. ;p
  13. @ranger_12: can't you install it or can't you download it? I could give you the file...
  14. was nice. thanks. best map was charlies point ;p
  15. F*"§$&!!!!*'! got trouble at work. i cant make or im very late...but i try.
  16. if you train enough it shouldn't be a problem...;p
  17. yes! maybe I can't be there the next two Saturdays... but after that I'll definitely be there.
  18. bah, too old...im only into this new trendy stuff.
  19. i like the idea of limitations and that you have to earn vehicles... you could also find rules such as that you excludes transport vehicles or that the vehicles are placed on the map but may not be used. if it gets too lame you can start using them... For me, the idea behind this is that you don't just get into the game and shoot around, but that there is real squad work. both, in the squad and the squads with each other. the "vip event" that we had went in that direction for me because a couple of squads began to look strategically and communicated where the vip could be and where it is definitely not. but i also understand blizzard and tedf. and it is true that you have an insane effort in the time before and during the game. maybe you can bring it under control if you have 4-6 gameleader on the enemy side who manually take care of spawning and troop movements. and you can make it clear in advance that these are "hardcore" events and warn the people that anyone who cant stand ghost train longer than 20 minutes should stay away ... ^^ in order to avoid confusion, squadleaders get a briefing before the game and the SLs are determined in advance. then it would be a must to be in a squad and the individual squads would have to listen to the commander (who got the control over vehicles and logistics). but for that you would need a lot of game leaders and it shouldn't stick to one or two people. ...but thats offtopic. sorry. ...and i hope i got the time to join this event.
