  1. RIP cousin John Smith 7/3/1941-1/24/2026

He'll live forever in our memories of the Hot Springs Fork in Mt. Hood National Forest.

  2. You'd have to ask people over on the Falcon BMS forums about the radio menu and configuration options related to it. This information may also be available in one of the many BMS documents found in your program folder for this simulator. Pretty sure it's just a line you alter or add to your user configuration file, but I don't want to assume. There was a post just today regarding changing the radial menu back to list menus: https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/30716/comms-pie-menu
  3. 1. You can hide the radios menu, you can change it from a radial menu back to a list menu, and you can even reposition it offscreen. Do whatever you feel is best for you. 2. If you are from a culture that expresses Pi such as "3,14" instead of "3.14" (for example), using a comma as opposed to a period/full-stop, then the keypress timing decimals of 50 milliseconds are getting translated into 5 seconds (or more). Because my profile was created in English culture, the only workaround I presently know is to switch your Windows OS culture or perhaps keyboard to US/UK or something. I'm not sure of the exact process because again I'm not in such a region/culture so I don't know what to do. If you ask around other AVCS4 users from your region, they will know. Running both BMS and VoiceAttack as Administrator is just fine. It's not ideal, but then, not many workarounds are. No idea why you'd need to run BMS as Administrator unless it relies upon something else which itself is also running as Administrator. As you might now suspect, this "chain" of processes running in elevated permission states affects all others that interact with it. If possible, eliminating ALL elevated permissions of any/all running software might make it possible to once again run BMS without these elevated permissions, but I cannot assume your setup and there is way too much nuance to troubleshoot here. Best wishes and good luck! I'm here if you need help!
  4. If you are running Falcon BMS as Administrator, then yes, it may be required for you to run VoiceAttack as Administrator as well. The solution would be to not run Falcon BMS as Administrator - this is not required.
  5. Santa had one more present in his bag that he forgot to give me on Xmas -- WOO HOO!! 🥳🎉

Just released the first episode of my playthrough on Mars in the latest version of Stationeers!! Check it out here, and let me know what you think!

I want to make more episodic content, to fit more than a 20-minute Martian in-game day into one episode, and to keep the video lengths close to the 25 minute mark. I spent a lot of time testing different formats, and i really hope folks enjoy this structure!

  7. Thank you so much for your detailed report! I found the issue, a minor oversight with those two commands lacking global aliases - as written in the game files they were "Install Remove X" and so I've added the natural aliases for separating "Install" and "Remove" Please say, "Generate Radio Commands", and everything will work now.
  8. Just finished my (other) Summer project - I make voice control profiles for the VoiceAttack program, specifically my most popular is for controlling radio menus in the Falcon BMS F-16 simulator ... just made it smarter, faster, better than it was before ... users just point it to the program folder for the Falcon BMS simulator and it generates the radio voice commands for them automatically. Slick stuff I've been wanting to do for years, and finally was able to make the magic happen.
    :wizard:

The BMS developers change their game files and in-game radio menus every few years, new things added, old ones removed, and I was always playing catch-up - now, my systems adapt themselves to any BMS version!

...and of course, I had to make some sort of epic promo vid for the fans of the project :tatice_06:

  9. S'all good - you don't need to apologize for the actions of some douche how somehow got your account(s). Shit happens. Hope you can take extra steps to secure your stuff now - personally, I use 2FA at any place that allows it.
  10. Hello and welcome to our newest Club members!
  11. The Cribbage game I'm making in Unity this Summer is coming along nicely! Still so much to do, but it's in a playable Alpha build stage now with a decent ai opponent (best I can code so far), and I just added a fancy-pants animation layer to the game!

Check out this short demo video and my slick 2D sprite squishing for card flips!  😁♥️♣️♦️♠️🃏🍻

  12. @rayanta (and everyone else I missed) Hello and welcome to the VG Army!
  13. In a stunning turn of events, Disney has announced its acquisition of Veterans-Gaming, the world's most premiere online gaming community founded by retired Marine Staff Sergeant BLuDKLoT. The move is expected to bring a significant influx of capital to the community, allowing for improved servers and services for its members. But that's not all - Disney plans to leave its mark on the VG community by introducing iconic characters from its vast library as playable models in all VG game servers. Imagine leading the charge on Muttrah as Mickey Mouse, or pounding the sand in Kashan as Elsa from Frozen. The possibilities are endless, and VG members are... well, let's just say "excited" to see their favorite Disney characters in action. When asked about the acquisition, a Disney spokesperson said, "We're thrilled to bring the magic of Disney to the world renowned online group Veterans-Gaming. Who wouldn't want to play as Buzz Lightyear in a game of Project Reality or Falcon BMS?". VG members, on the other hand, seem to be taking the news in stride, with one member quipping, "As long as they let us play as The Little Mermaid on our Arma 3 Antistasi server, we're all good." The acquisition is expected to bring about significant changes to the community, but Disney has assured members that the core values of VG - camaraderie, teamwork, and a healthy dose of sarcasm - will remain intact. So, if you're ready to join the ranks of VG and play as your favorite Disney character, now's the time to sign up. Just don't expect to be taken too seriously - after all, it's Disney.
  14. My AVCS family of profiles were designed for VoiceAttack (v1) - these profiles are not tested in VoiceAttack v2, and I have received confirmed reports that they will not function at all in v2. Please install VoiceAttack (original) if you would like to use any of my AVCS profiles - install the "Steam Legacy Edition": https://voiceattack.com/downloads.aspx
  15. Hello and welcome!! Thanks for the intro -- see you around!
  16. Please check the dates of posts before replying, this is old news and the VG Server has been back online since Christmas... but thank you, nonetheless
  17. I made another short video in Stationeers, this time showing the airlocks and networks in my Power Station.  I'm up to over 60kW power production now with my solar array, got like 135 of them all feeding into a bank of 30 large station batteries which power 6 sub-networks for my various buildings (including the Battery Room itself).

     :hi:

  18. What tutorial on here were you referring to? If you can link what page on Veterans-Gaming website has this tutorial, I may be able to help you. Not sure what you mean by side-tone in BMS as this should be a possible function of your headset hardware - for example, I have a Logitech headset, and the option is present in its config GUI:
