You think he use the Stryker for his personal transportation but in my eyes he use it for the whole 8 man squad to fullfill the job. There are enough logitruck (atleast one) so i ask me why the stryker should be used as amored logi? There is no need for an armored transporter when you have only one Stryker on kokan, his job should be the firesupport and not rolling around and taxing soldiers. There are enough gwagons and you can also build fobs to make the way closer to the front.

In my opinion, it have nothing todo with what map the airborne tactic works good or not. My reality point of view is, the vietnam war was also the new era of warfare with introducing the helicopters as main transport. The US used tons of helicopters in vietnam to drop their troops and sofar i know was the cobra AH-1G and the cobra corsair the first attack helicopters that was used in vietnam war.

Behind the scence of a poor modder life This Blog is dedicated to the new pr coop player base that joined the game, after the standalone version of Project Reality 1.3.0 was released. I play Project Reality since version 0.8 (2010), the version before BF2 vanilla patch 1.5 came out and Project Reality introduced the deployable mortars. Since them, i stick to this old lady game and also with Veterans-Gaming. I learned here all the basic of the gamemechanics, tactics, helo - tank handling and the key elements how to lead a squad. I started with coop and switched later to deployment, where i had a nice time but the funny gameplay of prcoop (the coop magic) with nice people got me back to the coop gamemode. Since than, Project Reality offered many gamemodes for deployment but only one gamemode for coop - conquestmode or called AAS4. The AAS4 (Assault and Secure) gamemode : Get control of a certain area (controlpoint), that unlocks another area and allow the attacking team to capture it. The attacking team has now to coordinate the next attack and also a strong line of defense (setting up defense parameters). When you are new to PR you will have fun for a longtime with PR's coop map arsenal but one day, its getting old. Each round is the same, same areas that must be captured, same action in the same spots, some parts of the map are totally unused and some part of the maps are totally overused. Conquest lacks on dynamic gameplay. What is Coop Insurgency Gamemode It's an objective based gamemode, where the BLUFOR team is forced to capture INTEL to reveall hidden ammocaches on a random location of the map. The Blufor team has to destroy those ammocaches. The dynamic of the random spawning ammocaches, makes 90% of all rounds unique. All ammocaches never spawn at the same locations. It can happen, that a ammocache like to spawn often at the same position but not all 10 ammocaches that must be destroyed. You will fight in areas where you never been before.

Worst thing that happen to me in SQUAD - Kohat. First time played as Squadleader Taliban team. Before the round start i talked with the squaddies about my tactic. My tactic was, spawning on the first spawned ammocache and build up defense parameters. The round started and the team was waiting that the ammocaches spawns. And than the DRAMA begun : Both ammocaches spawned in the same village compound, very very close to BLUFOR main's. This compound was in a valley, surrounded by hills. We spawned and i saw in what a shitty position both caches spawned. We ran to the highest hill and as we started to build the the fob (we all spawned 45 seconds before) and received already heavy fire.

Believe me Semler, its a good game but wait with buying it. atm. PR would give you more fun and gameplay as SQUAD. Play a round PR skirmish on a big map and you have the same feeling. About performance : Unreal engine doesn't run fine with AMD's @Semler & Insurgency: I have one Insurgency game on stock (STEAM).

More ArmA events would be nice but i prefer ArmA2 ACE ACRE with some community made missions like we did years ago (looking direction Savage, ciro, Semler) but as i said that MY personal meaning. Idk if Ace exist for ArmA 3 and i am currently to lazy to check the internet after more than 11 hours of work and 2 1/2 roadtrip but i think yes. I dont own ArmA3 and i dont know if i will buy it (when its really cheap than yes but currently...) ArmA has nice graphics etc. but there are also many things that make it to me as an 2nd choice game. - Animation transitions are the worst for an Shooter Game. Jumping on a ladder in PR is definitely better as climbing up a ladder in ArmA. - I am sure, there exist more hacks/cheatscripts in the world for the younger ArmA engine as for Refractor2. I'm absolutely sure. I got more times killed through fucking hacks in DayZ (please dont tell me its the MOD fault, its the Game Engine) as i got shoot. For me, i must like also the game engine and not only the graphics or gameplay.

Would be nice to get a small testserver, maybe 12-16 slots, only for testing purpose and maybe only weekend online, with a small testcrew. No big things like events or else. I'm working so long on this and was never so close to find the way for a new working gamemode for Project Reality. Question to you all: Someone knows or played ever a BF2 mod with another ai supported gamemode? NO !, because no other Mod - or Dev team (including DICE) ever made an alternate ai supported gamemode. We are the first ONES in the BF2 Mod world.
