hey guys just some news on the move situation. I've been going back and fourth and as it turns out, our current host was just about to upgrade us to RAID hosting. Our current server with them is 5 Core 2.4Ghz / 8GB RAM / 235GB RAID so really for $5/mo. difference I think we might be good to just sit tight and see how the new RAID upgrade works before we move all our shit somewhere else and really Alpha-Networks has been good overall since we've been with them considering I'm hard to please, lol. Anyway, we're staying put for now. Thoughtz?

I've been really enjoying the TS3 Overlay Plugin. I just started using it yesterday in BMS and it's awesome! It places a little box in the left corner of your screen and when people join the server, it shows them as they come and go so you know who is joining, etc.. It's very cool. I wouldn't use it in games with anti cheat like Punk Buster because you might get banned due to some bug, but for games that don't use it, definitely use the Overlay!! It's AWESOME!

Paratroopers are in high demand in the civilian world too. My advice...have them teach you something more than that, then you'll always have a trade to fall back on when/if times get tough. You'll benefit regardless but it's not an easy life.

If we're going to get crappy service we might as well just stay where we are until something better comes along. I'm not impressed with their customer support at all and we haven't even joined up yet. That's a red flag baby!

well the point of those channels is/are for public use, people can search them out and connect to use them so we actually want more, lol.

I keep saying this but we need to come together and make a mod of PR. Just to get our feet wet and explore the possibilities. Maybe we could build it using the A2 engine since it's so open. It's my dream to keep the pc gaming idustry alive! It's up to us to keep it going, to keep the presence out there and to try to offer the content pc gamers want. There is a huge community of pc gamers out there but we are getting squeezed out by freaking consoles so don't let it happen! Rolling over and sticking your ass in the air isn't the solution. Even if they never make another pc game, there are enough out there now that we could be in pc heaven for many years to come. There are many older pc games out there that could be modded back into popularity and some of those people would come back. Just think of the games we have to work with. What if we could mod Rogue Spear into modern day? Or develop something in 2142, or even just start with PR Coop. Eventually that is the direction I would like to see us go. Remastering old pc games into modern day would be an epic way to start. Don't throw in the towel yet.

I don't drink anymore but I might sip sum wine sometime in the future and think of this post.
