  1. I keep saying this but we need to come together and make a mod of PR. Just to get our feet wet and explore the possibilities. Maybe we could build it using the A2 engine since it's so open. It's my dream to keep the pc gaming idustry alive! It's up to us to keep it going, to keep the presence out there and to try to offer the content pc gamers want. There is a huge community of pc gamers out there but we are getting squeezed out by freaking consoles so don't let it happen! Rolling over and sticking your ass in the air isn't the solution. Even if they never make another pc game, there are enough out there now that we could be in pc heaven for many years to come. There are many older pc games out there that could be modded back into popularity and some of those people would come back. Just think of the games we have to work with. What if we could mod Rogue Spear into modern day? Or develop something in 2142, or even just start with PR Coop. Eventually that is the direction I would like to see us go. Remastering old pc games into modern day would be an epic way to start. Don't throw in the towel yet.
  2. I don't drink anymore but I might sip sum wine sometime in the future and think of this post.
  3. PanamanianDevil LAN_WROTE ... Nice post Oulanders. I especially like the last screenshot... very detailed. Bludklot, that's not a bad name to own at all. Any ideas what you're going to do with it? Just have it, never know. !yes
  4. funny, but I own .www.warfacegaming.com hah!
  5. I wish they would expand the Co-op to more than 4 people. Why are game devs always doing this with Co-op? BF2 took the prize with their ridiculous 2 player Co-op, but let's at least get 12 in there gee whiz. When the day comes that we have the ability to create our own game we'll get it done right even if we're the only ones playing it, lol.
  6. I updated the map rotation and mixed the maps up to try to make it more exciting for those of us with the map pack. If you don't have it, you can get it in our DLC area. s/f
  7. Thanks man, I knew I could count on you for sure.
  8. As most of you know I have another site that is just for Arcade games. I've recently updated the site with a new theme, new functions and tried to spice it up a bit. It's been a while since I've had some fresh users on the site because you don't need to register to use it. I was hoping some of you that are registered already could log in, play a game, use the new Rewards program and even compete for the $25 Gift Card up for grabs! I'm just trying to get the site to look alive again. If you could spare a few minutes please drop by and tell me what you think. Many thanks to all that help out! Fooey to those that don't !yes Site link: http://arcadefunhouse.com/ Thank you! Blud
  9. I still can't access Gametracker. It's as if the site is gone! The entire site won't load, all I get is a whitepage saying that page doesn't exist. On the TS3 Viewer under the globe, I get an error that Chrome can't load the page because the DNS changed, blah, blah, blah. I can't be the only one, this is nuts. The server at cache.www.gametracker.com can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network. Here are some suggestions: Reload this webpage later. Check your Internet connection. Restart any router, modem, or other network devices you may be using. Check your DNS settings. Contact your network administrator if you're not sure what this means. Try disabling network prediction by following these steps: Go to the wrench menu > Options > Under the Hood and deselect "Predict network actions to improve page load performance." If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend selecting this option again for improved performance. Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again. If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the wrench menu > Options > Under the Hood > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox. Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): Unable to resolve the server's DNS address.

  13. PC Gaming can change your brain! Recent studies are finding that these changes improve creativity, decision-making, concentration and dexterity. What I find ironic is that the violent games have the most the beneficial effects on the gamers brain. Government-funded researchers in the US and Europe have reported similar findings. In the largest public study of electronic gaming so far, Mark Blair at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, is turning the games themselves into a laboratory for learning. He is analyzing the behavior of 150,000 people who play a popular online game called StarCraft II, to learn how new knowledge and experience can become second nature, integrated into the way we react to the world around us. I wonder how VG could get into this, lol.
  14. Basically dude, do read the wiki, lol. If you don't want to use it then don't. It's no biggie man.
  15. SU just jumps you from site, to site, to site, based on your Likes. You press the Stumble button and it shows you sites it thinks you may like based on categories and Likes. You need to register, create a profile, then start following people or things you Like. Then you also "Stumble" other sites you find interesting and most importantly, SHARE content to SU from sites that you like, hence VG. I basically share 1 arcade game per day via the online arcade category, then I also submit news posts, forum posts, downloads, etc.. Make sure you use proper tags and write a nice description, or copy it from what you're sharing. Simple, but very effective. Try it!
  16. another great pic man. Maybe you should write a comic or something?
  17. I fell off one of these as a kid and it busted the back of my grape wide open. I think it gave me PTSD cuz I can't swing on rope swings anymore. Maybe there's a group out there for guys like me. Anyway, got like 20 stitches and spent a few days in the Hospital. Totally sucked. s/f
  18. Apology accepted, please read our rules. You've been unbanned. s/f
  19. Lots of you have been sharing our content via StumbleUpon, Tumblr, Twitter, etc.. Well thanks and keep it up! SU is now featuring us on their mail-outs! See below. Thanks everyone and keep on sharing! Blud
