If you haven't seen it, it's on the bottom right corner of a post, it's the small green "Thanks" button with the "Thumbs-up" on it. Once you have the IP, all you need to do is enter it like you would any other normal link and hit the Enter key. Test it out and type in ?208.85.240.231? in your address bar and it should bring you to the front page of the AO3 site. If you use Tumblr for example, just typing: ?174.121.194.34/dashboard? should bring you straight to your Tumblr dashboard. You should obviously prepare for the worst case scenario.
