Currently running a custom p6 build. I always build from scratch. The only proprietary 'puter you should ever buy is a laptop. But for general internet and no games I would say macbook / ipad.

I was trying to apply my profile ID to the =VG= website and failing miserably. After frying my mind for thirty minutes I finally figured it out. The number you want is a numerlical set that steam uses as your real account info. You can use this on your profile to link Steam status on our homepage. Open STEAM and log in normally. Select Settings. Under the profile name click on "Veiw My Steam Community Profile". This will open the Steam Internet Browser. There is a URL address near the top of the page. Mine says, "http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197974136995/home". Highlite and Copy the numerical portion and paste into whatever app you need it for. Like on your =VG= profile page! I hope this helps you.

Like Blud said. ^^^ Save them as Jpegs first to keep the file size down and just upload them as an attachment. They will upload inside the brackets [img] your file [/img] Computer lingo baby, gotta love it. Just preview it to see if they actually uploaded.

Unfortunatly there is no real way to do with this without some sort of downtime. Also since our current teamspeak is 5 gig for some reason, it takes a while to transfer and overwrite... It sounds like your having read/write problems. Is this just for PR? Or has it affected other games?

Try these steps. Stop at the first step that corrects the problem. Step 5 - 8 are really one step and very extreme. 1. Reinstall PR and do a play test. Is it only PR that experiences this problem? 2. Do a MEMORY TEST of your RAM. 2. Recover Windows to an earlier time. 3. DISKCHECK AND DEFRAG HARD DRIVE. 4. Reinstall BF2 and PR. The following is simplified with a second hard drive. 5. Backup stuff you can't lose. 6. Download the Service packs for windows for IT professionals and the Drivers for your hardware. 7. Reinstall Windows and patch. Once you have installed Win and get a solid foundation make MIRROR image of the drive if you can. 8. reinstall your other software and enjoy. I have a few theories on your issue. Corrupt game files. Corrupt Windows Install. Possible impending hardware faliure (RAM -not likely or the HARD DISK -liikely).

CPL Joey USMC LAN_WROTE ... I feel that all VG members that are BF/PR gamers should become familiar with this. ! You can do it everytime you play. It just calls for patience and practice. Repetition is the key.

Since EA changed their AUTH servers around there has been problems. Until EA fixes it, all BF2 engine related games using the EA client AUTH system are gonna have issues. BF2, BF2142, etc. There are reports of missing unlocks, skill points, and disconnects. It sounds like they porked the database when they did the move. Rookie move, lol. ;)
