  7. Blud/Solar: You have to say, if a server is possible. I think, 20 slots would be enough to start, that would be 5 tanks / team. I think the maps have 200-300 tickes / team => 12 tickets / tank + crew => 16 - 25 tanks to shoot down / team There are 2 repair trucks / team so you are able to repair your tanks on the battlefield. We could test a map by creating a local server. It should be playable with 4 players and that would be enough to play it on muttrah or Beirut. @TrentBrown #1: Mumble would be realy nice. The problem is that you have to be in mumble to hear it so it might get confusing @TrentBrown #2: There are enough tanks in these maps and i think you have a veary low respawntime (like in the old training servers) @IHarryXx Vehicle Warfare is human only and i think that's good. Bots are awful tank drivers/gunners. A good tactic in vehicle warfare, especialy in maps like Qinling is to hide a tank, leave the gunner in the tank, let the driver jump out and listen. You can hear the tank a long time before you see it. That usually gives you the first shot. An other tactic is to hide the sl in the map and wait until he sees the enemy tank. Your tank can shoot the marked enemy tank beyond visual range Bots are just way to stupid to use those tactics ;)
  8. Vehicle Warfare is a gamemode that came with the release of 0.9. This is the official description from the pr manual: Many heavy vehicles battle for control of the map in this game mode. Players are limited to spawning with crewman kits. Only officer and pilot kits can be requested. Tickets are only influenced by how many CPs a team controls. Destroyed vehicles respawn after 5 minutes. It takes at least 6 players (inside vehicles) to take control of a CP. Capturing is much faster than in AAS. Right now, only one vehicle warfare only server out there and nobody plays it. That's why I think, VG should jump into that hole by creating a new server. We just need 4 people to play a map like Beirut or Muttrah City and they aren't hard to find in the VG community. As soon as we play it, new people will come. There are 5 playable maps aviable in 0.91 and this is the order, that I suggest: Beirut 2x2 km Rus vs IDF Battle for Qinling 4x4 km UK vs PLA Muttrah City 2x2 km US vs MEC Silent Eagle 4x4 km US vs Rus (With Bradleys and BMPs) Yamalia 4x4 km CF vs Rus Hope we'll see us in a nice tank battle soon !lol
  9. Worked fine for me, but it still needs some fixes The maps look awsome with the new design but there are still some points in Qinling, where the bots can't go. It was hard to get out of the main base in Asad Khal but there weren't many enemies as soon as you left it. Most of the survivor kits have sub machine guns or shotguns but they aren't as effectife as in pr. The bots have more health points and the weapons run out of ammo pretty fast, so you have to work in a team. If you see a zombie, you know that this in a tough enemy. But you are lucky, because they atack you from behind and strike you down pretty often. You need to be in hamachi and create a local server to play it with others. The problem are the lags due to this system. Hopefully, we are able to get a online server pretty soon, but i don't know how that should work with the pr licence. Feel free to post your experiance here, we need it :)

  11. @dman not fixable :( I think they disabled that so the chinese bots can't rape the GB main base. Remember, the bots don't care about uncap.
  12. The central village in Silent Eagle is probably the best place in pr for a zombie mod. But we still need to create Navmeshes both for Barracuda Supplies and Silent Eagle, Quinling village should be fine. There are some bf2 editor map tutorials http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f189-modding-tutorials/20862-map-tutorial-list-where-start-mapping.html and http://bf2.e-plaza.de/index.htm . Bots need a navmesh for orientation. They would try to walk through trees and buildings without them. Silent Eagle village:

If the zombies only have 1 respawn left the humans can win the round by killing off the remaining undead left on the map.   16. How about snipers and pilots? I think, it's better to say: "Don't use white smoke! Use the colour smoke for marking purposes only!" I'll ask outlawz about removing the white smoke in the next verions asap

  20. The problem: Some of you didn't connect your profile to your playername in the server. If you go to the rank list on gametracker http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/8.3.5.166:16567/top_players/ , you see that some names (for example =VG= BLuDKLoT) have a profile symbol after there name. The solution: if you click on your name (or on the links below) and you are logged in, you come to a new page. There, you can connect your profile by klicking on "here" in "Is this you? Click here to link this player to your profile. ". You need to do this in every server or search for your names and add them all at once.
