  1. hahha ok thanks Outlanders. Yeah I haven't done any configuration or anything just using the default settings. What type of game mode? "tactical_operation" - firefight, vip, search and destroy "sustained_combat" - push, skirmish, strike "cooperative" - checkpoint, outpost, hunt Max Players? Map rotation?
  2. Is there a join by IP option in the game? If so can you try 5.9.23.136 port 27016
  3. Ok I've started up a testing server (nothing in TCAdmin yet still have to figure out how the game works).. but I have no way to see if it's working or not. If you have the game can you search for: VETERANS-GAMING | Insurgency 2014 server and see if you can join, etc?

Check 1st post for latest version of ALiVE from rev: aaand before i forget it, the wounding script from the insurgency a3 server isnt working :/, direct respawn to base after short counter...   7. PITN was kind enough to donate a copy of Insurgency 2014 for VG to use for setting up a server. I'll be reading through the documentation for this the next day or so and hope to have a server up and running early this week. Anyone have any suggestions for configuration or if you have setup a server for this game before please post here.
  8. Update to ALiVE was released last night internally. http://www.filedropper.com/alive1402081 You will need to update before joining the server which has already been updated.

Upcoming War Room features: - after action reports... so you can analyse event by event what happened on the map - the ability to look at the current state of a mission, loadouts, vehicles etc - the ability to edit the mission on the web page - add markers, tasks, change loadouts, vehicles etc - twitch integration for live streaming of ops - live map, so people can follow the action on a tablet etc - logistics demands via web - place enemy via web, like MCC And more..... Make sure when you sign up you do so as a user - do not register a new group. After you've been connected to the game data you will get a message next time you login to the server saying Player connected to Database or something similar. ** When closing mission ** [07/02/2014 8:08:14 PM] Tupolov: just remember when closing misson, get people to abort, then admin aborts and use #missions to close it out..

Yeah I'll add some VG swag for sure although I don't have much in the way of images.. can you send some my way to try out? So if you check the main War Room page we are located in the Faroe Islands as a Recon Section !declare Oh and FYI the stats will probably get reset once this is released to the general public so don't get too attached to your K:D ratio

  13. For sure.. just go into options and change the path to point to A3 installation. Change from A2 Combined Ops (forced) to A3 Any. Be aware SU will try and fuck you over by switching back to A2CO at times.
  14. No it's the same version up right now but probably by tomorrow there will be an updated version with functional intel. Also Ingo I fixed the TCAdmin command line stuff so you can add custom command lines now for different mod sets, etc. No need to go under Services and adjust the default line.

  19. OK so I've managed to fix the mission "start spawn swimming" issue by setting all units to spawn 50m in the air (lol). I think the player spawn should be OK as well as I found a height setting for that too. Not sure about the respawn at base I think you still get the swimming animation in that case.. but an easy fix is to go into your map, bring up radio, click Fix Headbug (or in ACE menu). Adjusted the loadouts and ammo box a bit as well. edit: msg from Fireball re: moving editor-placed stuff "I'm writing this top of my head, but you need to make sure that you have the correct startPos and have the player and MHQ units moved (adjust positons of them within the mission.sqm) within the "isDead" range of it, which is, about 500m (or maybe more, depends on the map, check the macro/function)."
  20. Thoughts on weapons available? It's limited to mostly M16s, M14s, SMGs, M60, pistols... I figured stuff that the Dingor police would probably use. If you think something should be added please let me know. Also any feedback on AI accuracy, respawn times, etc post it up!! I can't for the life of me figure out the water start problem - if I move the editor placed units away from their current location it breaks the random spawning of the base, units, etc.
