Sorry yeah I forgot to mention I will be getting the 3070! @=VG= Acro1 As for Storage I already have a very good SSD, I just want a HDD for other things, but a 7500rpm at least which I am going for! I havent actually updated the list to what Semler has suggested to me other than the Storage, so everything there was my choice! It's a Gaming PC, I only do a little bit of Photoshop work for Fiverr so nothing fancy. And if it will give better aiflow I'm all for it! I will think about that one so thanks!

Hey guys, so I am planning to build a new PC next month, but I was a bit worried about some of my part choices. My main worry was whether my CPU would bottleneck my GPU, but after a long and helpful chat with Semler in DMs, he has pointed out a few other things such as needing new ram and possibly a better PSU. Now because I am not so educated about PC building and parts (My knowledge goes as far as what a good CPU and GPU is. Although Semler has provided SO MUCH useful information for me) even though I built the one I currently use, Semler thinks I will get even better results if I make a thread rather than keeping it in DM, so I shall! So either Khami is broken again or the Server currently has issues. I am trying to join and everytime it crashes to desktop "Celaning up resources". I was wondering why it was empty

God. The good old days.... Server was basically Muttrah 24/7 because of the constant crashes. Felt weird loading up PR and seeing VG not on muttrah haha, although I will take long load times over crashes thank you very much!

This! I have been thinking about this since I got back and agree! I think it would be great to at least try. Test whether VG needs more staff, or whether we are able to get the playerbase required. VG is honestly the last hope I have for deployment in this game. It's the only server I trust staff in and see players that actually take the game seriously anymore (more or less). But either way I love this server and it's community, it's the only reason I come back to PR.

I used to go on Deployment for a more hardcore experience. Loved how serious everyone took it and how tactical it was. After coming back to the game and trying it again, was the worst experience I have ever had in PR. Literally felt like a clown fiesta! I'm sure it was a one off time but I was for sure disappointed.

I know that making Direct Message Groups is limited to something like 8 people, but I am pretty sure since the whole pandemic situation, discord has allowed up to 50 or 100 people to use Discord Server channels for conferences and such. Not too sure though!

Yeah I noticed the waiting time when I first hopped on. And indeed seem very strict, which I guess is good, just a little scary when you are knew haha. I did join another coop server that was pretty much a sandbox to be honest, but I got an idea of the gamemode and how the objectives work so it was actually pretty nice. I can see that an event with dedicated players would be amazing, so I am definitely looking forward to future events and would be more than happy to help try to get people on! Yeah I heard a while ago that it's best to get Apex, and I did that. Bought Bundle with it, played a bit today too, tried Warlord gamemode which was kinda fun I guess but not what I want from Arma. Not sure where to look for good servers since 90% are just Altis Life Maybe you know any? Other than the great VG of course!

Okay, so I think I'm leaning towards Arma/HLL. Although I enjoy Squad gameplay, and would like it in a WW2 setting, I want something new. Plus I have always wanted to play Arma, especially due to the flight physics, looks super fun! Thanks a lot for the input, super helpful! Maybe I will see you on the Arma Server

So I am currently torn between 3 games; Arma 3, Post Scriptum or Hell Let Loose. Now I understand they’re all very different in there own ways but I want opinions from people who have played these games. Whats good and bad about them? How do they compare (if at all)? and are they worth the money? all currently on sale which is why I want one. Anyway thanks, hope to hear from you!
