    I dont think it’s necessarily over complicated, COOP just makes it seem that way as it isn’t built in to it like it is in deployment. We could easily go without this whole thing and it wouldn’t really change much and all the slow loaders would just get on with it like they have for 10+ years. But nothing is wrong with changing things with great ideas just because it has not been changed before. That’s not how the world goes around otherwise we would still be stuck in the stone ages aye? Also I don't think this is "suddenly" an issue, it has probably been brought up many times throughout the years but no real solution to it until now

    The only issue I have with this idea is that it would definitely take some trial and error to get it perfect and that will definitely cause some frustration to new and common players. If there was a test environment away from the main server then that would be great but of course in reality we don’t know how many people are for or against this idea anyways.

    I don't think comparing the briefing time in Arma to the briefing in PR is a fair comparison. briefing in PR isn't really a briefing at all, just a small wait period for slow loading players a chance to join Squads. If you play deployment you will understand.

    I don't know exactly at what time the server registers as "Round Start", if it's when the first player joins or another factor but 5 mins seems a little too long. I don't know what the average load time is, and yes I know this is to compensate for the slow loaders but maybe it is a tad too long? I have no idea though it might work fine at 5 mins, but either way I am glad you came up with something so thanks!

    What I meant by the quote thing is that my first reply in this thread was meant to be towards Golden. The downvote was indeed intentional and I did not mean it in an awful way. I don’t have and never have had an issue with ranger, he has always been chill towards me so I would have no reason to dislike him, I simply just didn’t agree with what he said. I apologise that it kinda threw the topic of this thread off the table, not my intention. However if downvoting will be caught with a reaction like this I won’t use it anymore, I personally didn’t see an issue with it but either way I will use it more wisely or not at all.

    I think if people could just “Upgrade” their PCs to load quicker, I’m sure they would and I’m sure they have thought of that option lol. Unfortunately that is money and especially in a time like this not everyone has money to throw at building a new pc or SSDs no matter the price. Although if briefing could actually work in COOP it would definitely help as you can still disable creating squads so even if the quicker loaders got in first, doesn’t mean they can claim before the slower ones.

    Another Update: So regarding the PSU I think I found a decent one for now. It's the Corsair CXM V2 750W. Yes it's semi-modular, I am still looking around for a Modular PSU, but this one is looking promising atm, unless of course you guys see an issue! As for ram, I found another pair that wasn't on the QVL list. but tbh the QVL list is starting to look less promising in terms of price. From what I've read it is very rare for unlisted items to NOT work because they either haven't updated the list OR they can only test so many.     Thanks, I will definitely keep looking the same with everything else. I don’t want to cheap out on this build too much as my main goal is to future proof it so I will try to aim higher. Besides that though I just need to find one at a decent price as well as allowing it to fit the case which is minimum 140mm I believe. Yeah I definitely don’t want to go worse than Bronze that’s just silly. I haven’t found anything silver yet which is odd. Usually just goes from Bronze to Gold whenever I’m looking, but hopefully I can find something! Edit: whilst in the topic of PSU, I’ve been looking for 750W only. Do you think it’s okay to drop to 700W MAYBE 650W (Don’t think I wanna go this low though)?

    I know it’s not on the QVL List but I was just gonna wing it and hope it works. I wouldn't mind spending a bit more on CL16 at all, it will be worth it in the end anyway. I will definitely keep looking around. I am also a little stuck on what PSU to get. I don’t really care about getting a 80+ Bronze but from what you said it seems pretty important to get a Gold or higher.

    I've been looking for some budget CL16-17 sticks but I can't. If you know of any let me know, would be helpful! As for all of this, I have no idea what any of it means haha. I assume it's a setting within the BIOS?

    Hey guys, so I've been back on the hunt for compatible ram for my selected motherboard and I am looking through the QVL List but I have no idea what any of it means...I understand it's probably obvious but my knowledge is very little :/ So if you don't mind could you talk me through what any of it means? Just an example of one this that confuses me: No idea what this means (memory by ________) as well as the 1 million results below haha.

    Ah okay, well to be honest a small gap at the bottom leaves room for a little decoration but I will think about the ATX mb. Again I don't know much/anything about mb's so thanks for the help!

    I really do love Crosair cases. I have one at the moment, was considering a corsair case but again, I dont want a super expensive one. need to keep within my budget

    No I just found it and liked it. I do enjoy Corsair cases too! I just don't know much about cases so this is the only one I found so far, so any other suggestions will be great! As for the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic Mini, bit too expensive!

    I don't agree, at least not this time around. The performance for price ratio on these 3000 series are 100% worth the money even if there are some issues at the start. And games that are coming out now a days really are getting better and better (therefore harder to run) graphics every release. So I will indeed start seeing the performance change, not only that but this PC will future proof me for at least some years to come which all I want!

    Yeah I think I will get a 750W to be safe! As for ram I still need to find some ram from the QVL list, even though other ram may work I don't want to risk it. HDD Will be fine for now, I already have a 500gb SSD for Windows and other programs. The case I'm still torn between, I really like the none-mesh case but I don't know if better air intake is significant enough to trade for cool looks
