yeah he got a triple channel kit, but we're thinking the RAM itself is faulty as we took them out and tested them one by one, singling it down to 1 INFIDEL stick of RAM. cant be arsed finding you a link poff :P but the mobo is a Gigabyte P67A-UD3-B3 and the RAM is Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz.

ahh cool cool. i have a question from a friend (we are currently doing the first startup of his MONSTER gaming system haha (i7 2600k, 6950, the works pretty much) he asks, "I have 3 sticks of RAM (one of which was faulty during startup and was doing the cycle startup shutdown thing) all of which are 2GB 1600Mhz. if i were to replace the faulty 3rd stick of RAM with 2 RAM sticks of the same type, so all 4 sticks are dual-channel, would i be better off doing that or just replacing the faulty one?" i hope that made sense, because it didnt when i was writing it.

Hey guys So i thought the profile thing is a cool addition, the whole new setup (it is new...right?) is almost like a social networking site element. whoever made that decision, gooooood choice :) but i have a question/problem, when i try and put the profile background music up, it seems all good, i click use link, put the link in the wee little tab thingo and then hit update profile (looking forward to my new background music at this point :) ) and then WHAMMMY. it doesn't work :( what could the problem be? it's probably staring me in the face but i'm just too tired to see it haha. Murder

maan how did i miss this thread? awesome build Semler! i think you have the next case up from me :) Thermaltake are the shit lol. oh, and really nice CPU choice there sir ;) haha. and that fan control dial is sweeet Man i really need a graphics card :/ - would a 650W PSU be good to run a 6850? i'm just worried about the CPU and GPU both eating all the Wattage and my computer igniting lol once again, awesome build (and the pictures weren't that bad tbh) Murder -

hahah, right on Semler! to be honest, i've never thought about that... i was going to seperate for cooling purposes but never thought of RAM slot order.. i thought it just went in whatever order you put them in... will i see any increase of performance?

your worries are duly noted haha, if i notice any performance errors i might switch it around, but i'd rather have a hotter than norm GPU than a hotter than norm CPU. take some pictures of your system man, i'm intrigued because no two are ever the same, it's awesome :D
