    @ashman, don't mean to go off topic but i dont think British forces or assets were deployed to Kunar province. i think they only went to Kandahar and Helmand - i could be wrong.

    it is an option which i would like to utilize seeing as it's there. the pre-sets are sweet, 99% of the time i use them :) it's just when i want a laser deg that the juggling begins. btw Semler thanks for your undying efforts for this map, it's really forming into something awesome, your work is understated and greatly appreciated!

    and compare that with the Chinook. anyway, like OP said no discussion here :\ i for one would like to see an easier method of changing loadouts, as going to the armory is quite strung out and 95% of the time does not work for me, and all i can pick up from every one of the ammo boxes is M240 ammo drums lol. so possibly review that imo

    those are some pretty specific areas for simulators heheh. i remember one from WAAAY back called Armored Fist. im sure some guys remember it. as of late i'm not sure any more have been produced. but keep an eye out, maybe search the steam games list in simulators, or go onto www.gamespot.com and have a look for anything there. sorry i couldnt be of any more help to you

    you gotta be thinking about the maximum ceilings of these Helo's aswell. the Chinook does so good because of its beefy twin engine design. a Lynx wouldnt be able to handle the high altitude me thinks.. but the proof is in the pudding :)

    okay so myself, Tortia and Semler got a good laugh from this last night. even snapped one with Tortia posing with "The Feet"

    it could be anything, the stress that modern-day games put on dated hardware (even my 4850 is showing its age a LOT nowadays) is quite significant. it could even be down to CPU temp or HDD temperature. i'm only speculating though. a good habit to get into is hoovering out your computer, so all the fans and filters are dust-free, and any components that are susceptible to dust build up (Power supplies are good at this). better yet if you have access to compressed air, that would be the better route for the purposes of cleaning a computer out :) who knows, but it's worth a shot right?

    well depending on what power supply you have i would definately go for a 6800 or 6900 series, 6850 could be picked up for under 200 quid i reckon. the 6900 series cards are obviously superior but there's the price to go with it. definately get an Ati card as they are optimized for AMD processors. so have a look around and see what you can pick up. dont go for lesser known brands because they might be cheaper, you'll pay in the long run and will only suffer from it. go for brands like Gigabyte, ASUS etc. big names :) they are the best quality

    only bad thing about LAN parties is when the room gets way too hot, start feeling like you're in a sweatshop lol. especially when windows and doors cant be opened because moths and shit flood into the room. and yeah people of NZ don't really know what air conditioning is... or fans.
