As promised, here are some highlights of the event from my perspective.

As long as it's a Corsair AX or HX series you should be golden. Some cheaper corsair power supplies have been kinda iffy lately.

DAYUM! Now THAT'S a beastly rig! What brand PSU is it? I really don't like that it just says "Standard 80+".

You can change the case to whatever fits your needs, just make sure it is ATX (not ITX or mATX). Dedicated sound cards are non-essential unless you have high impedance headphones that require an amp. High end motherboards today include excellent shielded sound circuitry. As for storage, you could always go for the 512GB version of the 950 Pro, I have that myself and it's absolutely lovely, but it is quite pricey. If you have a tight budget then I would go for the 256GB version and have a mechanical hard drive for storage and games where loading times are not very important.

Honestly, drop the i7 and get an i5 and use the extra money to buy a GTX1080 instead. Going i7 over i5 for gaming is utterly pointless and I would only recommend it if you are going to do some heavy duty video editing, for example. Just as I was landing I saw an enemy go into cover prone, and I thought "hang on, bots don't dive for cover" and then the chopper blows up :D That was pretty lucky to be honest!
