absolutely right! ups and downs will be and whenever you lose something, you have your hands free to go get something else. i'm glad i didnt give up when life really kept kicking me when i was already down. i would've missed such great times. i would've missed seeing my nephews and wouldnt have met so many nice people. whenever god (or whatever higher power of the universe) closes a door, it always opens another - maybe sometimes we're too frustrated to look for another door and keep standing infront of the one that was just closed. we managed to restart the server after deleting the palyerdata out of the world and deleting the railcraft.dat but whenever we got close to that point where we had our settlement, the game crashed and the serverconsole had "wrong location" warning. so we started a new world - which seemed to be a good solution.

we use the mod package from VG server and have our own little private server, which crashed yesterday due to a blackout. so we tried to start it again and it says it cant load the "railcraft" savedata and aborts. is there a way to fix that?

i wont be able to attend, as its my brothers birthday and because of this, i wont be available at that time. to the server admin: can you add the HDR fix to the server's supported mods? it reduces the amount of HDR, which is like 200% of the real-life amount and is unbearable in some gaming situations. the HDR of the game adds up to the HDR amount my eyes produce (delay until they adjust to the new brightness level), because i have a tube screen, which has a high contrast (white really emits much light and can blind me until my eyes adjust to the brightness). that being said, please add it to the list of supported/allowed optional mods. thanks :)

Sorry Captain, we lost a few humvees, a chopper and some men dropped some of their personal equipment to move faster (that includes some handguns and backpacks, even explosives).

we had some ACE training yesterday with Calv. as far as i can say, i'm prepared to lead a Fireteam now.

i'm near pavlovo and havent logged in for weeks now. waiting for my brother to come play it with me on the same server. i hope we will be there, when they finally manage to have all players on one big server or have those servers synced.

will most likely be there. as soon as i'm trained in all the ACE mechanics, i'll give it a try to be FTL as i've been leading teams from 4 to 12 members in other games before. Light Air Support/Recon Hotel-1: Murder :D i'll most likely always call him "Hotel Six" :D

all in all a nice evening. sixupdater forced me to download ACE and ACRE once again, although it already was installed... also SI could've been the reason for the big lag, which later dropped me from the server. ok, i should definitely look into the multitude of things ACE changes and hopefully it goes better next time :)

very well said, all the above by yoda and terremer :) having a silent squad does not make fun nor success. communication is a rare good sometimes... wasting assets or abusing them kills the fun for all serious players.
