But simply, if you dont want too use third person, dont? - A lot of us use it because it provides us with proper depth perception of a situation.

Ingo =VG= LAN_WROTE ... umm hold alt and move your mouse.. works for me :D My argument here is people without track IR are left at a distinct disadvantage..

Wooz =VG= LAN_WROTE ... I don?t like the Massi weapons, as nice as it is to get all those weapons, most are them are sub-par in quality(and add crate cuddle time) as for the skins, i quite like those, but are they necessary? Also, i?d like to bring up a suggestion, i would like to see missions with forced 1st person, i feel that it kills the immersion when you can switch to 3rd person, also forces people to use the stance system...what do you guys think? The argument comes up again with people who do not have equipment allowing them to turn there head on the move, the only kind of way they can tell what is going on around them is using 3rd person.

The issue is with Arma 2, I have checked. Its most lightly not a mod error considering it does it, without mods.

No. Its not due to the mods as the issue persist even on our regular arma vanilla server. I have honestly no idea what to do about it. Its more a problem of getting weird lag on our servers and lambs servers, less about the FPS drop. The FPS drop will fix itself hopefully if i can fix this fluctuating ping problem.

I have had problems for a while as some people know with my arma. Any server we or lambs run gives me a massive FPS drop to roughly 5fps - Pretty much unplayable. Also on VG servers my ping begins to fluctuate from 45-5000 and anywhere between. I have reinstalled battle-Eye with Savage in the past but we're pretty stumped on whats wrong with it. If anyone has any idea's please feel free to add them for me. I have genuinely no idea how to fix this...

Lupago mate, if you can link up with people you'll mostlightly have more fun on DayZ SA than almost any other game out there currently. Its alpha and missing some content and optimisation. But its still bloody fantastic mate, lots of stuff to get upto like handcuffing people and feeding them disinfectant.. ^^

That was such an amazing time Haha! Hope we can get another 10ish tomorrow, We might even get more on! My two favourite points were when they stopped and holstered and me and wooz walked up from the oposite side to like 7 other guns. Then I was like. Follow us too meet the crew we dont really plan on doing any damage or we would have by now. Then they followed in and everyone pulled up guns to greet them, too which one of them reacted. "Oh. ****" They had a hell of a shock:P

Castor =VG= LAN_WROTE ... It's a shame that completing an objective is all that matters to you, but I suppose that level of realism doesnt appeal to everyone! Dude. Not all that matters. Clearly not. Have you payed any actual attention to all the points vetala has brought forward? Your training people. You need to realise people need someting to explain to them its done, we're not all perfect like some. The general idea behind having objectives in a mission is, well.. Sorry to break it to you mate, completing the actual damn objective? Like.. I'm sure thats what every single mission is about? Its not about free roaming otherwise its quite a monumental waste of everyones time. You need to chillout with all this realism dude. Just join the damn forces if your that good, and want that much realism. Please, you just need to chillax with it.

Tasks really do need to be implemented.. What are you training if your just sending them to do what they already believe they know? They'll come back with the exact same knowlage every single damn time unless they have a task that states damn bro! You got it! You actually got it right this time! You did it better than you usually do. You learned something. You excelled and can be proud of this task completion.. Instaid of. Uh This missions easy! I have done it 100 times the same way and every time its right because i've seen the same thing every time! and theres nothing to tell me I didnt acheive it! So clearly only seeing one enemy was enough! Tasks are simply required..

I do agree there isn't enough admins but you can always find someone on TS usually I'll be around down the basement somewhere if you need help.
