What:

Simple seek and destroy COOP mission - clear the town of OPFOR and secure the marker area.


**MISSION FEATURES**

CQB-friendly AI:

UPSMON patrol scripts - AI will check buildings for enemies if in combat mode
Garrison Script - AI groups will garrison and defend random buildings

TPWC AI Suppression - AI units will be subject to proper fire suppression
** The author of this mod/script has provided me with a beta of the dedicated server only version of this which we will put through it's paces !yes

The AI is a challenge on this mission - we will be fighting Russian Spetnaz and they are not happy!!

ACE Revive:

Revive and respawn script with configurable parameters
Only medics can heal and administer epi and morphine (all units can bandage)
ACE Full Heal in the field is a parameter option
Number of lives is a parameter option
Automated AI medic at start position

Limited weapons - select few alternate weapons available in briefing screen. Only ammo boxes available in mission (no weapons crates).

Full loadout at mission start (medics too)
ACE mortars (good luck with that...lol)
UPSMON AI groups will respawn when killed
Garrison groups will stay dead

Cinder city is a small map with a bunch of buildings that are mostly all enterable (even by AI)

Some buildings have breach points on the exterior walls where you can place C4 or other explosives prior to breach.

@Iffn - it's not a long mission (I know I said that last time but I really really mean it this time!!) and it will have JIP so we can start on time and others can join in. This mission will be more like a COD map than Arma (ducks).

If we get over 12 players I have 2 options:

- increase the numbers for COOP
- make it a Team Deathmatch mission

I'm in, start counting people dude :) also should we search for a ACE CO-12 mission? would be nice to something else as well after that, especially if its a short mission :)


I got that covered! We will have extra play time post mission - and I'd like everyone to DL the MCC Sandbox - this WILL NOT be used for Savage's mission AFAIK, but people will need this for Post Event Games, might as well get it before the weekend, it's only a 2MB mod.

lol was reading the forums thread for MCC:

VCB ran our first full trial mission with this last night and the MCC Sandbox held up very well. Less can be said about my ability as the MM though - resisting the temptation to fiddle is difficult so things got a bit out of hand towards the end. I accidentally spawned an enemy fighter jet in the wrong zone, so lacking the ability to delete it I spawned a friendly fighter jet to come and shoot it down. Then I needed some Enemy AA to shoot down the friendly fighter because it was circling overhead and not moving to the new zone location (minor bug there probably caused by the AI still being in combat or something). I'm not sure what the rest of the platoon knew what to make of the developing air battle going on overhead. So I added some soothing bagpipe music to take their minds of it.
