Iffn, Jackless and I managed to get on a server the other night for a few short minutes. Was cool seeing and hearing others on at the same time, even if it was just engine start. Sadly my plane exploded twice on the ground because I think someone spawned in on top of my position. Something to watch out for in the future on public servers.

Strange how its loading the dirt maps and not the color ones aswell on the car and lamp post.

Thanks for the link Bones. I was feeling the frustration the other day when I was running the single player Hideout mission for the first time. I thought I'd use it as a training mission and work my way through it and see how far I'd get. The idea being to run this mission multiple times until I completed it. That way I'd know the lay of the land, radio freq's, even the airfield layout. Basically I could concentrate on learning to fight the A10. When I got to the target I started to realise that I didn't know enough by a long shot, and it was all very overwhelming and deadly lol. And a bit depressing. So, now I'm back to the tutorials, making notes, etc. practicing so I don't blow my tires on landing :D Also I've found a guy on Youtube who's got some great tutorials vids uploaded. Hey dman, I have on the hardrive at this time.... PR DCS A10 (learning at the moment) Arma OA (trying to get used to this after lots of PR) FSX Rise of Flight Left 4 Dead 2 Civ 5 (when its not crashing or freezzing up) Napoleon Total War (not as good as Medieval)

I have the OA stand alone version, can I join online also I wonder, with you guys with both? Only played it a few times before coming back to PR, but never tried it online.

Had most of them, I think Medieval was my fave. I bought the Napoleon one around Christmas but having hard time getting into it. Been playing Civ 5, well until a patch started freezing my computer. Only just started playing it again since latest patch. If it freezes up with this one, the games getting removed. I'll wait for a few patches yet on the Shogun 2 then have a look.

Thanks very much for posting up the training flights. I'm still working out my checklists, including weapons deployment. Looking forward to flying some MP with you guys when I'm near to being up to speed. PS. Good point about making our own control key list.

Well I can start her up and get her in the air now, no problem, now I've got to learn how to fight with it. I tried the Hideout mission, thinking I knew enough and got given a hard lesson I must say. I was trying to fire a Maverick but my mind went blank when I saw a SAM coming up at me lol A very unforgiving sim. Back to the manuals and tutorials :D

Yup not enough time at the moment. A world of work fell on me just as I was working my way through the tuts. I've only managed an evening or two on PR. Tonight though I'm gonna go flyin' :D Off on holiday on Friday so I've put the pdf manuals on my iPad to study while I'm away. When I get back hopefully will be able to join up with guys for some online flying.

Downloading this evening. Once I get some experience with the tutorials I'll come and give a shout. Fingers crossed it'll run OK on my machine. You never quite know with flight sims.

I fly FSX quite often. Nearly always use A2A a/c with the Accusim mods. Plus FTX scenery addons. Superb combination. I also fly Rise of Flight which is a hoot on multiplayer, though haven't been on in a while. Playing to much PR of late.
