Hey guys how come sometimes my screensaver and power settings work and other times they don't? My pc should go to screensaver in 15min, sleep in 30min, and shutdown in 60min, but now it just stays on no matter what. Any ideas? Seems to happen after I update vid card drivers, but I dunno for sure. Thanks.

Working on my keyfile profile for BMS 4.35, almost finished it but I still have a few slots on the shift layer I'm sure I could take advantage of. One thing that has been useful for adjusting my key file is the Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher. Be careful before you rush ahead and use this tool it has a nasty side effect of altering several files in your BMS setup so please read this page on the BMS site BEFORE you download and install it.
I almost thought I would need to do a complete re-install but I persevered with it and now find that this program could be very useful for new players who are having issues setting up their joysticks in BMS. Its very easy to use and set the different call backs to the various keys on your stick and throttle. I've even added a bit more functionality to my rig since using it so I am recommending this great program. Just be warned the program will alter your current setup so please back up any important files before going ahead.

Working on a DIY project right now between other things; "wireless TrackIR TrackClip Pro"
I have an old TrackClip Pro with several broken plastic pieces, so I'm using it for all sorts of testing and feasibility checks before cutting up my new working TrackClip Pro. I want to use a small modern Lithium Ion battery and have the ability to charge it through USB micro-A connection, with a charging circuit, and a power on/off switch, but a few of the batteries I've tested so far have me scratching my head.
If this simple 3x LED device normally operates on a USB 5V 1A connection, I really only need to replicate that. But I've already had little success with the batteries I have around my house. I may have to purchase a battery specifically for the project, as well as the charging circuit. It all needs to be very small and lightweight.
I've read several DIY forums where people already did this exact thing, so I have plenty of ideas for products and procedures. I'm very patient and I'd rather spend a few extra dollars if it can be a little more sturdy or look a little better, so time will tell how this turns out. Will take pictures once there's something worth taking a picture of.

Yeah that implementation does look a bit dodgy I agree but I was thinking along the lines of not having to do too much damage to the TrackIR or its wiring, I would not have cut mine. Also that clip of the TrackIR is as crappy as hell, you'd think they would have done a better job for the price they charge.
Anyway keep it up buddy, looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

There's a bit off a reschedule for daily routines, my actual time for study back at campus is likely starts on tomorrow (and it goes from there). And also Mondays are going to be my day off every week-!
That doesn't always mean it's good for me, it can be a pain sometimes (If i had more assignments
finishing it 1-2 days before deadline)

I am unable to properly function, so I'm copying a note I sent to a few of my oldest friends here at VG:
I can't login, I can't think. I can't even process life right now. I've been in a stunned shock since Sunday (Dec 31st) evening. In moments of clarity, I am reaching out to those I can think of - I consider many of you real friends, and I just want you all to know what has happened and why I'll be absent.On New Years Eve morning, my brother took his life. We were extremely close our entire lives almost like twins, but he had cut off contact with us all and moved far away for over a year. He had been struggling with mental health issues including audible hallucinations (hearing voices) that berated him and tortured him "verbally", as well as addiction problems, and we all have to just accept that he felt there was no other way to stop it all and escape. He was a talented musician and a knowledgeable composer. If any of you have watched some of my old gaming videos on YouTube, you've heard my brother's music in the background.
He will be cremated and released to us around the 12th, and I will be spreading his ashes at Wahclella Falls near or around then, presuming it is accessible this time of year, and we will hold a private Celebration of Life rememberance in our home somewhere around the 17th.
I may not come around for the next couple weeks, or until these matters have concluded, as I do not feel sociable at this time. Certain individuals can reach me when I am offline if there is a technical emergency, so contact =VG= m823us if there is a matter that requires my attention, and I will resolve it if/when I am able, and if not, it will go on the top of the "to do" list for when I am feeling better. I've already noted that I will be helping Oniblood work with the ARK Survival server as he expressed interest in that, and those who knew I was developing weekly PR event "team workshops" with custom maps should know I will continue with that project before too long.
I feel like I'm walking around in a daze, like a bad dream, and my time is filled with moments of painfully deafening silence and extreme grief, and the rest of it spent with family and friends, as people I've not talked to in years come over to express condolences. Hearing others talk about this all sounds like I'm listening to a commentary of my own life and it is too surreal to tolerate, so much so that my family now hushes up if I'm walking by when re-telling someone who has not yet heard, out of respect for my feelings.
I will eventually return because hanging out with friends online will help me to move forward and be strong, but I am having a hard time using the phone at this time and it's most comfortable for me to text for now - messages through this website or facebook are just fine if friends need to contact me.

Very sorry to hear this Sem, I'm sure the guys here will cope with handling the things that you do around the community, take all the time you need mate. Hope you still have more family around you at this time, bloody sad when something like this happens but also a time to remember some of the great things you brothers did together over the years, at least you have those memories. All the best to you and family.

I can S/VTOL off the carrier and normal runway just my VTOL landing is a bit dodgey at the moment but with practice who knows, jees I've only been flying the Harrier for a couple weeks or so. Its an beautiful aircraft to fly but damn noisy.
If you have a full bomb load you'll never get the thing off the deck using VTOL that's why I'm using the catapult which is quite easy to use. Landing with the catching wire whatever they're called is not too bad too, just need to come in at a steady pace and hit that area where the wire traps are, you can get away with quite a bit of air speed, I normally give it 20-30 deg of nozzle which helps with the AOA. I also mapped the VTOL nozzles to my Trim switch which makes it easy to adjust the Harrier for accelerating/decelerating transitions.
I've been holding off a bit until I could get myself to this level but for sure Static, we can hook up on the server sometime.

Yeah VTOL landings are really difficult, all my attempts so far have ended in disaster, but shit this guy makes it look easy.

Harrier training in BMS, I managed my first landing on a carrier without bursting into flames, flying off the end of the runway, or smashing into to the rear of the ship.

Hi man.
I saw your video about the recon event and noted that your graphics are in low resolution in the game. (The first map was really blurry)
I'm not sure which settings do you use but if you are using HIGH QUALITY in the launcher I suggest you to follow this simple instructions to fix the low resolution in the game. It happend to me with my new account profile too.

"By going into My Documents, ProjectReality, mods, bf2, cache and deleting all the folders inside of it (they are shaders) and by also going to ProjectReality > Profiles > 0002 (second profile I made) and then opening video.con with notepad I edited and put everything on 3 (the max I guess).
For example VideoSettings.setTerrainQuality 3 instead of 2.
