"Nebelwerfer" (lit. "fog/smoke launcher") mountings for what are essentially RPGs. Name comes from the developer Rudolf Nebel and/or the fact that they produced a lot of smoke.
This particular launcher "Schweres Wurfgerät 41" ("heavy launch device") fires either 50kg HE or 32kg 'napalm' warheads, over a distance of about 2km. Later variants had a range of about 4km.
Although very inaccurate their impact was pretty massive, resulting in the nickname "StuKa on foot". Another nickname was "howling cow" due to the sound they made when launched.

Got sweetFX myself, using just a bit of bloom and vibrance (+0.15). Also like adding a bit of blue to the shadows using Lift Gamma Gain to fake the blue sky light but haven't done it on my current install.

Don't have the A-10C. Tried it but I lack buttons on the Cougar throttle and the rest of the controls were confusing since I'm so used to the F-16. Didn't really have the patience or interest.

I'm a KA-50 fanboy for life. Hovering in a scout location, sneaking into attack position, making aggressive attacks and pushing the limits where necessary. Once I get in the pit I forget why other people think the heli tries to kill them. Not gonna fly a puny Gazelle, I want a beefy attack chopper.

My laser code is 4808 IIRC and I can work with Lon/Lat coordinates so teamplay is still an option.

I wouldn't play with these post processing settings, but it's a damn fine wallpaper.

Actually there is a danger of surprise cat jumping on my lap. (insert CAT I / III joke here)  Actually I fly worse in CAT I ... but just because the 16 is so twitchy
