  1. i'd be down! but i need a lordly joystick -_- when i attain one, ill hit you guys up for some flying :)
  2. getting a technician sent from my ISP to come and fix it, or so they say.. i hope to Lord klutak that they can fix it lol. i miss gaming with you nerds :P
  3. any luck semmy wemmy? i explored the full network map and Vista is saying the problem is between my modem and the ISP. if it is... ima be bustin in there with a shotgun down their throat lol. i used the MSN troubleshooting thing (for what it's worth) and when the network is down it says the DNS is f***ed and "Key ports" if that's any help.
  4. right on Semler. there is a big difference during the day (a lot quicker, and a lot more stable than in the night) as for the shit im using, i couldnt really find any prominent product info on the iPort, this is all i got. Model Number A1143 Modem - D-Link ADSL2+ Router DSL-502T Generation II Mobo - Gigabyte MA770-US3 (kinda dated now) thanks Semler
  5. well the weird thing is we have had the iPort and the same modem for like...3 years without changing it lol. only recently within the past month and a 1/2 it's been doing this. i'll try to do that tommorow but it wont be easy lol.
  6. my ISP is probably the worst in NZ...and i get stuck with em -__- as for connection type i have no idea.. what's the difference and what's the calling cards of each? lol. one other thing, if i'm casually surfing on my browser, the network seems to function a bit better and consistant, but as soon as i join a server on OA, then BAM, almost instant "No message recieved for xx"
  7. okay.. so it has now reached boiling point. im sick to death of my network constantly losing internet connectivity... making my head veins explode tbh. it always does it, intermittently throughout the day it'll randomly lose connectivity. making it impossible to play any kind of online game for any decent period of time. phoned up the internet service provider and they said everything is fine on their end (think they're full of shit to be honest). i'm well within range of the network giver outer thingy. it's one of those stupid apple iPorts, which i think could also be one of the problems. has anyone ever had anything like this before? and if so, how did you resolve it? pleaseeee someone just fix it for me lol, its giving me some right stick and i'm 2 steps away from drop kicking the lot into the fireplace on full burn. Murder.
  8. let's send our 48xx's to Poff so he can make us a 3 -way crossfire supercomputer.
  9. i think im going to frame my 4850, and preserve its memory for the ages to come. then in 20 years i can compare technologies and hopefully be mildly impressed by the new stuff
  10. damn : ( looks like im gonna haveto de-commission my beautiful 4850 *cries*
  11. Hey dudes and possibly dudettes Question aimed directly at Semlers face :-) - number 1, would crossfire between a HD4850 and a HD6850 work? and number 2, if it would, would there be any point or any decent gains? (number 3 :P) would there be any issues seeing as though they're two complete different generations of card? i can't bring myself to get rid of the card I've had for over 2 years and that's seen me through so much, so i guess i'd like to include it in a new build i'm thinking of - hook the little bitch up to a HD6850 and watch it fry perhaps hahaha any insight would be greatly appreciated. Murder
  12. but during a two minute silence in respect for the dead? i think that's a low. fair play he might not agree with the war, but there is no need to be so rude and inconsiderate. probably just doing it to get a laugh the spineless f**k
  13. that's pretty disgraceful. even though i'm not really an old man yet, lol, i hate today's youth. so focused on fads and social status'. someone needs to give them a slap and a large forced injection of reality.
  14. hmm looks like im missing 20 bucks lol. but shit Tortia thats some bad news right there.
  15. yeah, a big Thank you to everyone fighting the good fight, Retired military, and those who are not so lucky, but forever in our minds. RIP.
  16. okay so we isolated the stick of crapped out RAM, e-mailed the shop and sorting a replacement out now. as for his system, its amazing! BFBC2 on absolute max, gets just over 145FPS, Arma II obviously gets creamed up too, though we didnt get an accurate FPS reading because it was just after 4:20, but i'd guess around 95FPS on max graphics. i love computers :P and it's a unique feeling when you build or help someone build a PC and get it running, it's also nice in a way to face the challenges and overcome them. top stuff haha. Peace, Murder
  17. same story lol, just trying to look like they have the next best thing to get customer base.
  18. @Semler, Lmao. i really liked the spec ops description of using another browser haha. and i just said that to be a dick :P i'm not worried about spyware, just worried bout sellin out yo! ya know how it is in da ghetto hahah. but seriously, ill try get something uploaded soon, just my internet is playing up atm thanks for the help guys anyway :)
