  2. Due to the insane cost of having a high end PC, I will sadly move more and more over to console gaming. With the next gen now and future gens. The difference between PC games and console will be smaller and smaller.

  8. Me and AKM tried the "stable" version last night. Dev seemed hell of a lot more stable than the very unstable "stable" version. That being said the new insurgency map sure has a lot of potential. Was lovely to see squares and infantry inside buildings again.

  12. Well I got one of these stoneage iPhone 3. But its not a smart phone, it's as dumb as a brick.
  13. No, it was Chernarus BAF 1.50. But I'm sure PITN can confirm if its stable or not. But the Czech 1.50 on Takistan had big issues aswell.
  14. From what I remember that version bugs out after a while and crashes the server.
  15. Yeah the singleplayer/multiplayer experience were worlds apart. Singleplayer airspeed: 300-400. Multiplayer Airspeed 1100-1300. Dogfights were so incredibly awesome. You had fights lasting 30 minutes and eventually as people got to top level it was about saving fuel. Meaning flying with decreased thrust while still evading the enemies. Missiles were pretty much useless after the first pass or untill you took out some systems with guns. God I really really miss this game :'(
  16. So while listening to some awesome music I suddenly got flashbacks to my younger days while playing this/these games.     Well we didn't have the new stances in A2 so I assume these are the same no matter what setup you pick.

    Basically the left CTRL key is now your "functions" key. X crouch, Z prone Press CTRL + W/S and you go one stance up/down. CTRL + A/D and you move left/right, then you can use Q and E to lean even further. Also pressing C will toggle the run while aiming mode (dont remember the name on the fly). The rest you can figure out by either going to field manual in options or controls.
  19. Smooth smooth smooth everything is smooooth. Aiming is smooth, animations are smooth, flying is smooth. This game is everything a military game should be.
  20. Will choppers still blow up by the slightest touch of a bush/tree and will there be measures so it will actually be possible to crashland without exploding (autorotate)?
  21. Did we find out if we can host dedi servers or not during the alpha?
