Flying on the VG BMS Server with CobaltUK, landed heavy in CatIII with a crosswind A-OK

More training, night landing while heavy: Looks like I need to straighten out, right? BUT - the pic can't show I am heading straight down runway 02 Right - this is me forgetting to turn off Drift C/O and trimmed to counter the crosswind with full aircraft weight (CatIII) with 2 600lb Fuel Drop Tanks on the wings, and 6 500lb bombs.
I continue to touchdown in this angle, only turning straight at touchdown...

@Sillymoose - this game is ancient, if you can run PR, you can run BMS on your toaster...

@Meiz - went out on a strike just to get some bomb and missile attack screenshots, but about midnight last night, checked the screenshot folder and EMPTY! Forgot I changed the button so "Joystick Recenter" is on a different key (so the text don't show)...

Will try again ;)

HARM (High-Altitude Anti-Radiation Missile) re-training in BMS --

SAM sites have 2-3 sets of vehicles, we don't just bomb the SAM launcher cuz we'd have to be so far inside it's engagement zone it would be suicidal. Instead we attack the Missile Guidance Radar, or in some situations the Search and Acquisition Radar, with a missile so large it can fly at Mach 3+ for more than 60 nautical mile (much farther than the range of most SAM missile systems) homing in on the radiation emitted by the Radar. Missiles take around 2-3 minutes to reach the target, and you call out the shot and time when launching with your callsign and time of flight: "Weasel 3-1 Magnum (PET Alpha) 3 Minutes" and you call out when it's counter reaches zero "Weasel 3-1 Magnum PET Alpha timeout".

In fact, it's such a heavy missile, when I fire off one of the two under my wings at the first SAM site (actually at it's "Fan Song" missile guidance Radar) the jet begins to tip to the side that still has a HARM and I have to add a decent amount of Roll Trim to compensate to keep the jet from veering off course.

In this pic, I've taken out the first SAM site, an SA-2, and launched at the second - an SA-3 - which will be destroyed in 14 seconds as shown in the right MFD:

Pre-Plan CAS mission with SoBad today - it was night in Korea.  We took out the 225th AAA Battalion, just wiped it off the map with Mk-20D Rockeyes - an anti-armor cluster bomb.  They're small bombs, we carried 12 each under the wings of our F-16's.  SoBad had a fault and couldn't extend his landing gear, so he performed a belly landing and I watched the sparks fly down the runway as I was on my final approach.  Any landing you can walk away from is a good one!

Here's a pic that shows my Target Pod looking at a Mk-20D exploding over the target:

I realize this is an old post but, if you are still needing an x52 profile I have a nice one worked up I can send you.

Yea, we fixed it finally.  It was an issue with STT Programming Software and the mini-stick being used as a cursor.  Just needed to add a proper delay and we got it sorted out. I even applied the fix to my setup so my mini-stick isn't useless anymore.
