Fortifying a Flag/Cap point considered baserape/disrupting gameplay?

Hi everyone!

I just need some clarification on this matter regarding the server rules.

1) Is fortifying Cap areas with razorwires/foxholes frowned upon? The reason I was told is that it's to prevent the bots from recapping the flag. Then to what extent will this be considered disrupting gameplay.

From Coop Server Rules "4. Disrupting gameplay (Griefing) ... Purposely limiting friendly movement with no tactical advantage (Bridge destruction, deploying razorwire)"

2)  Is Placing down razorwire and foxholes to block the enemy's entry into the cap zone considered baserape?

From Coop Server Rules "7. Baserape Destroying enemy reinforcement routes (Bridges/Razorwire)"

Thanks!

You can use razor wire to defend a flag you have captured but you cannot use razor wire to block off main roads from the enemy main for example. Blowing up the bridge on Khamisiyah is an example of destroying re-inforcement routes, not allowed to do it.

Admins are all briefed on what these rules mean, so ask them if you are confused. Its also considered Base rape to kill armor beyond the current cappable flag but difficult to enforce on a map like Bamyan where the flags are close together. This subject has been flogged to death in previous threads.

What Kave said mate. Its cool to put down emplacements to stop back capping. Wrong to put them down blocking enemy advance from main, etc.

I will say that some SL's put down so many emplacements pushing what I would call excessive, where it limits friendly movement. Mutt map is a good example. It sometimes get to the point where APC's must travel dangerous routes for re-supply/repair.
