I got my hard copy off of amazon way back, I didnt know that they had it on GOG. but i got the hard disk lol awesome to know that ill still be able to fly. when does the server update to 4.33.1?

been having issues setting up a fuel tanker flight, telling me its bad timing but the timing is correct, can anyone check to see if its just me?

How can I check that my ports are correctly forwarded?
im sure you have them open, I had the same issue, the thing I found out was that there was a update for my modem/router if you have AT&T you're going to have to call them and ask them to update your router. and when they do and the update doesnt go through give it a few hours and then do a factory restart on your router, you're going to have to redo your ports and reconnect your devices but it should update the firmware on your router.
1. check ports
2. put ur IP in DMZ
3. restart your router to factory default
4. call your ISP(internet service provider) to update your router if #3 doesnt work -
only issue that I got is that the fuel bags and the 120Cs run out from Seosan. Been having issue with the laser guided bombs not hitting there target not like in 4.32. I learned how to use the MSL Step with the mavericks, thats alot of fun. other then that server is running great, im so happy that I can connect again, being out for awhile was making me go nuts lol
I did have a question, is it alright for me to make my own tanker flight out of the 909th? I know thats where the server player sits and I know not to touch that flight, was just wondering with not being able to reach out as far with out a tanker on day 9-11 was wondering if it was alright to set up tanker for the extra long flights -

Okay - I vacuumed and dusted my PC room so I could take off the covers and fire up my PC and try to join the server - I got the "Kevin" message, too!!
Logged in to the remote and looked at the server, looks fine, in 3D pit, BUT - upon closer inspection, it doesn't respond to any keypresses, and it's CPU usage is flat 00.
I've restarted the computer that runs the server, and I've restarted the BMS Campagin - let's try this again.
BAM! !wiz I'm in the server as a client, no "Kevin Pending" message - so, the server had crashed in a way that it looked like it was running (I will be watching for this type of crash in my many daily health checks from now on).
So, if you wanna fly, give it a try. We might have been chasing our tails for nothing here. Fun fun.

I Just checked my router/modem software/firmware and it got updated...after i did a factory reset I am so confused right now
*edit* letting you guys know im on the server with the ports opened and everythings A ok -
ok guys something VERY weird is going on. I called my ISP and i asked them to update my routers firmware, they said it was current and that it needed no update. I look on the forums and found an update but at&t routers will not update on client side (to my knowledge) . So either AT&T is giving me Bull $%@# or I can breath in space....
second now this is going to blow your socks off, I restarted my router to factory default and I can connect WITHOUT port forwarding please someone tell me how that is being done O_o -
ok so my issue is not to do with my upload then. must be something with my ports?

yeah I made sure that I had my ports opened with the correct internal IP address Brain and I tested our connection while he hosted and i connected just fine though he did change a settings and I got the same Kevin message, i was really excited to join back up again after fixing all my issues with my motherboard and CPU, =( things happen

Thanks again Brain for trying to help and figuring this thing out, you guys are the best when it comes to helping each other out. ill continue to see if theres anything else that I can do to figure this thing out

so Brain and I found out why im not able to connect, im on a connection running at 20mb down and 1mb up. so with the bandwidth set 1024 im guessing im no longer able to join =/
