Minecraft 1.7 - Released

Minecraft 1.7 release date: 30th of June 2011

Changelog:

- Pistons
- Sticky Pistons (Crafted with slameballs)
- Finally a use for simeballs
- New cobblestone texture (Less contrast)(Mossy cobblestone wont change till 1.8)
- New clay brick texture (Darker mortar i believe)
- Fences can be put on fences (Torches too!)
- Shears (The new way to get wool from sheep)
- Shears will have durability, this means they will break eventually
- Sheep will drop 1 wool when killed
- TNT can only be activated by redstone signals and fire

- Some bugfixes: (might be more but these are known right now)
.. - Redstone Repeater Fix (Redstone connect to repeaters properly)
.. - Clay spawn bug fixed (clay, in 1.6.6, only spawn where the X location is equal to the Z location)
.. - Item duplication bug - Not confirmed yet

The new textures are already released: (for those who are making texture packs)

Jeb said high resolution texture packs will be supported in the future, but will not be in 1.7: (From twitter)
