Finding your Steam ID number.

I was trying to apply my profile ID to the =VG= website and failing miserably. After frying my mind for thirty minutes I finally figured it out. The number you want is a numerlical set that steam uses as your real account info. You can use this on your profile to link Steam status on our homepage.

Open STEAM and log in normally.

Select Settings.

Under the profile name click on "Veiw My Steam Community Profile". This will open the Steam Internet Browser.

There is a URL address near the top of the page. Mine says, "http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197974136995/home".

Highlite and Copy the numerical portion and paste into whatever app you need it for. Like on your =VG= profile page!
