suomikeizari Posted April 6, 2012 at 10:40 AM Report Share Posted April 6, 2012 at 10:40 AM the thing is, to me ARMA is just that. a lot of walking and preparing and patrolling not much action, It cant be compared to the feeling when you kill 10 guys in row in CSS or BF3 but it has something that makes you come back everytime. Guest Guest airbornealways Posted April 6, 2012 at 12:36 PM Guest Report Share Posted April 6, 2012 at 12:36 PM Caster, you sound like a Run & Gun Button Masher. In ARMA if you are walking a lot, then something went wrong like the Flyboys not knowing how to fly.
=VG= SavageCDN (Inactive Duty) Posted April 7, 2012 at 01:08 PM Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 at 01:08 PM He's right there is more prep time / travel time / etc in Arma than other games like PR. I would argue that the feeling however can be compared to clearing an AO or completing a mission with your buddies... and for me that is personally more satisfying than a m-m-m--m-monster kill!! Jager Posted April 8, 2012 at 03:00 AM Report Share Posted April 8, 2012 at 03:00 AM I was doing a recon / patrol mission with the clan and after we were done I shifted through all my fraps recordings, patrol / no heated gun barrels accounted for over two hours while the firefights we had was roughly 30mins or so :pEven so the feel of stacking up in ts, getting briefed on the op then stacking up on gear and head out.Using proper coms and formation when playing just adds even more to the whole feel of playing. The end result is that you feel like you have actually accomplished something, and every time you take a bullet you know that your squad has your back."We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he today that sheds his blood with meShall be my brother.."
