Great news Blud!
So looking forward to this happening!

LOL Bottom, you crack me up!
First monthly donation made. -
Wouldn't do a thing without the approval of VG as a whole.
Simply exploring options which would allow those in the southern hemisphere to play PR with a ping that's playable.
It was never my intension to steel your thunder or de-populate VG servers. I believe the 400+ ping is having that effect all on its own. -

From what I have been able to find out so far, a server here will cost around $5.50 per slot per month.
So a 32 slot Coop server will run $176 a month.
I don't have a clue what a lisence will cost if anything.
-
It there an extra lisence for BF2/PR available?
I am seriously considering setting up a COOP server here in Australia and would like to tag it as a VG server.
I would be willing to commit to the financial obligations associated with the server but would need VG experience of VG members to make it happen. -
-
Is there any news regarding the resurrection of the PR server?
The other CO OP servers out there really suck! -
Thanks Bottom, and yes, always fun when your on deck! Cheers mate!
-
Thanks to all you for your kind words and birthday wishes.
Added to an all ready great day.

I'm 52 today and have had way to much to drink. None the less, I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me the privilege of playing here. It is an honor!
VG is truly a model which other clans strive to duplicate.
Cheers, Yoda

Thanks, let the downloads begin!

The reason there is so much less clutter comes down to the IC manufacturing. As circuits become more and more reliable IC manufacturers put what was once outside the IC inside it.
In my industry, this has resulted in an 80% reduction in PCB physical size.
The horrible part is the device(s) become less and less serviceable.

New PC has arrived and it plays ARMA just fine.
I'm currently learning how to play and hope to join you guys some time in the near future.
Any advice with respect to mods I have to get, tips on how to play etc would be accepted with the greatest of thanks!
Cheers -
Money order is sent Blud. Hope it helps!

I could have gone my whole life without seeing that!

Thoughts? -
@Castor, valid point.
But, is it too hard to come up with a sticky that lays out the basics of what is expected from players on VG servers? Surely we as a community can develope a reference to which players could be referred.
I'm just thinking that proactive rather than reactive education of players would yield an improved player pool. -
Na, just passionate about the game(s)!
-
Well said Tremer, good advice there!
