=VG= Calv Posted September 16, 2011 at 06:09 PM Report Share Posted September 16, 2011 at 06:09 PM Hard to diagnose really.I assume it has worked in the past and you haven't made any changes to your system, recently installed any drivers etc?First thing I'd try is the file verifying thing on steam, hopefully it'll find something and re-download it. =VG= BLuDKLoT Posted September 16, 2011 at 06:21 PM Report Share Posted September 16, 2011 at 06:21 PM when you install BF2 you need to navigate the exe to the Steam directory. It should look something like this:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\battlefield

=VG= Calv Posted September 16, 2011 at 06:49 PM Report Share Posted September 16, 2011 at 06:49 PM If it's disappeared then doing the verify files thing on steam should re-download whatever it needs, possibly the entire game if it has all gone.Just find the game in your steam list.Right click > PropertiesLocal FilesVerify integrity of game cache

Terremer Posted September 16, 2011 at 07:18 PM Report Share Posted September 16, 2011 at 07:18 PM Yeah usually when my steam games do weird things, I first run the file verification in steam. if that doesnt work i usually just flat out delete it through steam and then re download and install. If that doesnt work im really not sure. Its weird that you're crashing straight to desktop without any error message or anything at all.
