Crash to desktop / Memory Error

Hi

When I play PR alot like for a couple of rounds my game usually crashes to desktop or I get an error message saying "BF2 memory error"

I just wonder if there is something I can do to prevent this or do I just have to take it?

If anyone has any hints on how to solve or atleast make this occur more rarely that would be great!

Hey there folks. I got a solution for the crash to desktop probleme here:

1: Go to your BF2 game folder and delete the punkbuster folder, should say "pb".

2: Go to control panel, add/remove programs, and uninstall PB Services.

3: Download pbsvc.exe from this link http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe

4: Install punkbuster

5: Install pbsetup.exe from here http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php
and update punkbuster (you first have to add the game "BF2" though...)

6: Download battlefield cleaner from here
http://www.filefront.com/5050807/Battlefield-Cleaner-v2/
and clean all the caches.

7: Restart your PC

8: Start up PR and go to graphics settings, change all settings to medium.

9: Go to audio settings and change audio from software to hardware

10: Enjoy playing Project Reality Crash to Desktop free!

See ya on the battlefield folks! 8)
