DCS-A10C Video Tutorials

Because this sim is far more complex then many of its contemporaries I figured we could all use a little help in wrapping our heads around it. I strongly recommend that you also play through (multiple times) the included tutorial missions in the sim as well. There is so much more and I will update this thread as sim pilots around the world start tearing into it and posting "How to's"

A couple of tweaks I've come across:

1) If you are seeing "tearing" while panning around the cockpit, it's because the Vsync option in-game is broken. You have to manually go to the graphics cfg file to turn it on. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=67887

2) If the controls seems sensitive/jumpy, try this: (You still need to trim the controls, but the following method will smooth out your control inputs.)

Q: Why are my controls too sensitive?
A: The default axis settings for the stick and be a bit touchy for some. If you feel this is the case or you. we suggest:
1- Select Options from Main Menu
2- Select Controls tab
3- From Category drop down list, select Axis Commands
4- Select Pitch for JOY Y and then press Axis Tune button
5- Set JOY Y Deadzone to 10 and Curvature to 30
6- Press Ok button
4- Select Roll for JOY X and then press Axis Tune button
5- Set JOY X Deadzone to 10 and Curvature to 30
6- Press Ok button
7- Press Ok button at bottom of screen to save changes.

Been doing these tutorials over and over and over. Learning new avionics is a bitch, especially this old bird. Coupled with a new HOTAS setup and a nearly 700 page manual.... Time for some online action! Simple TEs would be fun. Though I haven't tooled much with the mission editor yet.
