ACRE help

Hey guys, I am having some serious issues with ACRE installation. I am using Six Updater 2.9.6 and it seems to not work for me. I add ACRE to my preset and choose the Install and Update option. once that is completed I run the game as Admin and pull up Team Speak as Admin also. Every time I get on, I get the "ACRE: dsound.dll not loaded in Arma2! check jarma2lib installation!" It is really frustrating since I have been trying to fix the problem for about 3 days straight. I have tried a fresh install of ArmaII with six updater installing the mods, still get the same error. Anyone have any advise? Am I over looking something?

if you are on TS if you right click on Semler and send him a poke letting him know you are having TS/ACRE issues then he might be able to help.

Yeah I had a chat with him about an hour ago, and tried his tactics, but still nothing. It is very frustrating.... I just wanna play with ACRE!

Hmmm... weird, If I run the game through Six Updater it works okay, but i still get some errors that pop up on the screen, but it works! I'm happy

He had dsound.dll error - forgot what fix is for that, so I'm no help here.

Might go into where the ACRE is installed and delete it, then make sure you empty trash. This will cause a sixupdater to do a fresh install of it as it might just be a corrupt install.

He's already done that several times....get online before the event today, a good hour or more before, and the ACRE group will all be online - massive tech help on all issues.

Most problems arise from either installing ACRE while TS3 is running, and/or not running TS3 or Arma as Administrator.

Again, sounds like he got it working...
