Guest Guest AirborneAlways Posted April 28, 2012 at 02:21 PM Guest Report Share Posted April 28, 2012 at 02:21 PM Been at the Sniper Range a couple of times (haven't been able to confirm this issue during daylight hours).Noticed when you go prone that the first set of targets are no longer visible do to being behind wall {they are visible when knelling and standing}. Now I know that this isn't really that big of deal as there are still plenty of other targets to shoot at. Just wanting to confirm that this is happening to others or just me?At night and using NVG you will notice that they are white but all others are dark. =VG= SemlerPDX Posted April 28, 2012 at 02:35 PM Report Share Posted April 28, 2012 at 02:35 PM The first set of targets is actually 900m out. I placed those red drop targets so that closer range sniper rifles, like TortiaBoy's baby - the M110, have something to practice on as it's max zeroing is 800m.The actual targets of that range are 900m and 1600m, linked to the scoreboards behind the shooting positions.I designed the angles of the walls so that the snipers pit cannot possibly deliver a round (accidentaly or on purpose) to the training ranges below it. You were shooting at correct targets, if they are facing you at the sniper pit. Also, when checking the scoreboards (linked only to the large white target boards), or using any mouse scroll menu action on the items at the sniper's pit, you must be at the correct angle to get the action. Try going behind and looking directly at it, or try crouching.
