PR:BF2 v1.8.0.3 Changelog (2024/07/28)


GENERAL:

Updated in game sounds to be deafened without affecting positional audio while dead.

Updated requirements to neutralize a capped flag

Neutralizing a capped flag requires minimum of 5 players

Capping a neutral flag requires minimum of 2 players

Reverted UAV camera controls to old system as new one caused issues with thermals.

Updated UAV to have 100 second longer max loiter.


SHADERS:

Updated vegetation to use alpha-preserved mipmaps.


MENU:

Added high-res blueberry, SL, and Commander icons (including SL vehicle numbers).

Added new WW2 halftrack icon.

Added new WW2 bomber plane icon.

Fixed wrong menu icons shown for passengers of vehicles.

Fixed Polish Honker and Skorpion jeeps not having contrast shadow.

Fixed Join by IP.

Fixed Vietnam binoculars showing laser HUD.

Updated WW2 fighter plane icon.

Updated IFV icons for more contrast to APCs.

Updated light, medium, and scout attack- and trans heli icons for more contrast between them.

Updated Chinook icon to not look like 2 helis 1 blueberry.

Updated stationary AAA and AT icons.

Updated all technical icons for more contrast against other vehicles.

Updated SPG technical to be more easily distinguished to other technicals.

Updated rifleman and marksman icons to be more distinguishable to each other.

Updated BRDM-2 and VN-3 icons to be more distinguishable to jeeps.



KITS:

Removed Rifleman AT Alt kit from German early WW2 faction.

Fixed Soviet Ushanka hats floating on Stalingrad.

Fixed Chechen and Militia 90 having no TNT on engineer.



SOUNDS:

Updated sounds of PTRS-41.



VEHICLES:

Added new BRDM command post for Chechen and Militia 90.

Fixed Trucks slightly moving without a driver.

Fixed feet of Russian 1990 soldiers clipping into transport truck floor.

Fixed issue of not being able to request kits from WW2 vehicle depot.

Fixed various land vehicles critical and water damage rate not being consistent.

Reduced the speed of Sampan boat.



WEAPONS:

Fixed grenades and smokes disappearing briefly when thrown.

Fixed unable to set sights using the Menusar UGL.

Fixed time travelling DP27 on Stalingrad.

Updated RPG43 model.



LEVELS:

Adak:

General: Fixed vehicles taking damage while driving.


Battle of Kerch:

General: Added new loading soundtrack.

General: Updated flag names to be more historically accurate.

AAS64: Added 2 minute delay to Soviet logistics trucks.

AAS64: Increased spawn delay on Soviet BA6 to 10 minutes.

AAS64: Increased spawn delay on Soviet BT-7 to 15 minutes.

AAS32: Removed invisible teleport to trenches.

AAS32: Fixed Soviet artillery only spawning when Trenches flag is captured. Soviets should now have 10min artillery from the start of round.


Grostok:

General: Improved fps.

General: Fixed deployables having desert texture.

INS64: Removed misplaced caches in field.

INS64: Removed one BMP-2 for Russia.


Krivaja Valley:

General: Fixed deployables having desert texture.


Pavlovsk Bay:

General: Fixed wrong texture on naval base sign.


Road to Damascus:

General: Fixed minimap having wrong grid scale.


Stalingrad:

AAS32: Added linear bleed instead of exponential.

AAS32: Increased German tickets by 60.


Stalingrad Summer:

AAS32: Added linear bleed instead of exponential.
