  1. Outlanders =VG= LAN_WROTE ... So, anyone else got the key? Ok. So this game is not very good. PVP reminds me of Breach, and Breach was shit. Coop is just "ok" Nothing special about it. Insertion - kill bots - kill boss - extraction. There's two campaigns for coop with 2 missions in each and one very small map for PVP. Can't say this game looks like it was made on Crytech 3 engine, it looks like Unreal 2 at best. Here's a couple of additional keys for beta, don't know if they are area restricted though. FZM2KN0FK90MJHKWFUW6 2SG8L2V437JHWLF950B1 R3AA410K1YKH5O5QHG5E That's a shame. Have you had a chance to play it much?
  2. Castor =VG= LAN_WROTE ... very interested in the PVE part, also isnt cryengine3 very modifiable?
  3. Nice post Oulanders. I especially like the last screenshot... very detailed. Bludklot, that's not a bad name to own at all. Any ideas what you're going to do with it?
  4. Yea, actually I may pick up Revelations on a Steam super sale as well.
  5. lupago =VG= LAN_WROTE ... True, anyway its good to see a change, Ezio is a good character but they were abusing of him xD, have to play revelations though. Revelations is the only title of the series that I didn't purchase. But for the shot at a decent coop title with unique stategy in AC3... I'm there!
  6. Ahh, I loved the first one. I used to run It on an old ass laptop that I had and it's the first game I owned with the bullet travel feature. SE2 is modern day so it's hard to compare the two. About the only thing that's the same is the fact that they're both third person sniping games. Now there will be coop missions and a cover system... damn! I can't wait. I've taken a liking to third person shooters. And I really enjoy decent coop missions ESPECIALLY when a strategical approach is required. This is no run and gun. Kiddies need not purchase this game:
  7. Outlander your post was a trip! Funny as hell. But if everybody just googled the answers to their questions, it could reduce forum conversations. LOL I always like when people ask my input or take on a title. Here's what I'm seeing: It's built on the CryEngine 3 engine so it looks pretty and runs smooth, but I'm guessing no prone just like Crysis 2. I'm guessing this based on the last screenshot of the player doing the ole slide forward while shooting. http://fluffrick.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/warface1.jpg I'd count the game out for me at that moment however, the game will be free to play online and comes with cooperative play against AI, and daily challenges to mix things up. Since it'll be free, and I figure it'll be a like playing a mix of Crysis 2 (graphically) Battlefield (functionally ie: medics and classes) and Arma (cooperative missions) I'm willing to give it a shot.
  8. Reserve your name now for free. This title may be pretty decent: http://www.warface.com/
  9. Another thing I noticed in the trailer was how the assassin was jumping through the trees. At first it might not seem that significant but if you watch, it appears there are several path options for the assassin. Instead of the traditional climbing of buildings and such, the assassin can now climb trees and choose different paths. That approach has the potential to add a whole new element of strategy to the series. Imagine having to decide the correct avenue of approach to an encampment of enemies... now imagine being able to coordinate something like that with 3 friends. That has seriously got my attention.
  10. Here's some interesting news for the fans of the Assassins Creed series (like myself) and people who like coop action: AC3 is supposed to have 4 player coop! http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/03/06/assassins-creed-3-co-op-mode-spotted-in-product-listing/
  11. Terremer =VG= LAN_WROTE ... PR's a lot of fun. It took me a while to get into it, but once you start to become familar with it you get more engaged and its a lot of fun. Especially if theres a lot of people on working together. also i wont be home for another day or two but i'll try to catch you then. I have a question, is PR coop against AI or multiplayer? sgt-barclay LAN_WROTE ... also want relisum and teamplay try arma 2 Yes, I'm surprised the PR community isn't into ARMA 2.
  12. I sent the friend requests to you guys. Thanks. I figure the more Origin friends that are interested in team play the better. I youtubed BF2 PR and I have to admit it did peak my interest. I'm gonna look into it a little more.
  13. Hmm, sounds like you guys are into the BF2 PR quite a bit. I have serious time in the old BF2 and 2142. http://bf2.statsverse.com/stats/pc/SergeantJay/#infantry But I really am amazed by how far the graphics have come along. I re-installed 2142 about a year ago and the game looked like total crap to me by comparison to the current graphics. It's funny, I remember them looking pretty good.
  14. I'm available many evenings around 7:00pm EST for anyone who wants to play in a Battlefield 3 Hardcore server and truely run as a squad. I will follow a squad leader and their orders in-game and would expect the same in return if I was the squad leader. I've never had more fun in any game than when there is true team play in Battlefield 3.
