Should I be looking at overclocking either my CPU (running my i7 Sandy Bridge, stock) or Video Card (GTX588 SC)?

How do 'new' members get to play on that server? I play 7 days a week in the Public VG Insurgency server.....and don't get me wrong, I love it!! PITN has been very helpful is guiding the Public players and new to ArmA players (when I say helpful I also mean patient, lol). Just thought I would ask.....cheers!

wow!!! Now that is an outstanding and in depth reply :) Thank you so much for taking the time to post. I see that you have been thanked 130 times in 101 posts.....now I see why, lol. I will spend some time time tomorrow looking and adjusting some /most of these settings and post my findings. I am using a 46" Samsung LED 3D TV as a monitor....is that frowned upon? Once again.....many thanx!!!!

Not a bad plan, lol I get a little frustrated in not knowing what features effect certain areas. Gameplay and fps are vital and performance over graphical fidelity is a must......but.....I would like it to look pretty, game immersion and all that ;)

Just looking for some intel (not a silver briefcase this time), on the best configuration for setting up the Video settings for ArmA 2. I have a pretty good Rig (I think) and can/should have the power to run some settings on HIGH or Very HIGH.....I just don't really understand Post Processing, AA, what trees and grass to have toggleg on...etc, etc. I have a GTX 580 SC GPU 16 GB RAM i7 intel Sandy Bridge CPU Samsung SSD Drive I just don't think I am getting the most out of what I have......what view distance should I be using and what the heck is HDR and Vsync, lol From a self proclaimed rookie!! Any help or advice/insight is greatly appreciated.....if I can these things ironed out before the ARMA 3 Community Alpha, I will be most happy!! REAPER LOK

Agree about the comments regarding the JSRS sound mod, however, the server (VG insurgency server) does not allow it...unless I'm mistaken, and I often am...lol

I love this server also....just wish I could use the JSRS sound Mod :) Loving me some CLAfghan and the new adjustments!!

SemlerPDX, Outstanding work on the CLAfghan missions, this map just continues to show improvements to an already quality experience!!! Keep up the great work :)

I know this is a suggestion thread but I just wanted to pop in and comment on how great this MAP is and I tip my hat to the guys who collaborated to make this possible for the ArmA community!! Keep the missions coming, I cannot get enough of this stuff :)

Need a little help/advice also......I have version 1.60 and can join the Insurgency server with no problem other than; When I have CBA active it will not let me join server (Red light) When I disable CBA I can join (Yellow light), however, I get a message saying 'Missing CBA_Main" The only reason I am asking is......I would like to use the JSRS and Blastcore Mods that I have.....any ideas? REAPER LOK
