yeah we were running into a few issues with the public server last night. Thank you for fixing those as well.

my only displeasure with this whole ordeal is now I am unable to stay in contact with a few of the friends I made over there on a regular bases.

I apparently have upset the owners of CCG with this whole pursuit to continue insurgency and the fact that I made a public post stating I was going to take a break from my moderator duties. So now I am just a regular member of CCG.

Thanks man. Just found out that at CCG they are not going to allow us to keep up the insurgency section of the forums. So I was glad I checked here right after because I needed some more good news. I am currently taking a break from CCG for a while just to think of about a few things.

The more the merrier. We CCG insurgency players are just looking for a new home plain and simply. The meeting is just to discuss details and to see if we can come to an arrangement on a few things that could benefit the both of us in the long run.

We've just added a few different missions as well (thanks to Vetala). We would also be open to hosting your insurgency mission on our server (you would have FTP, TCAdmin access to the particular server)... perhaps we can work something out if your group is interested. Yeah drop by and we can discuss MSO if you like. There are lots of options there and MSO is really tailored for planned events more than random public play. I talked to the owners of CCG about it. They state that they are busy right now and not sure if it is worth pursuing. Honestly, I am just frustrated. I will tell the insurgency players about your server though. I took a look at the mods you used and I like them a lot.

Well I was just told they are closing the insurgency server do to lack of interest. I personally will still like to talk to you though. Was costing them 40 pounds just for 12 slots.

Thank you so much. I will have to check with the owner today. He just got offline when I thought of this. Once I do I will post the time. I really do not want to see CCG's insurgency server go since it is probably the one thing that is currently keeping me interested in Arma 2.

Currently our insurgency server is at a turning point. The population of members has dropped off to where the server is empty all week. That is because it is password access only. I been trying to get ahold of the person in charge of the server to open it up during the week and locking it during the weekends for member operations. It might be closed because of the cost which is pretty steep. If I was able to set up a meeting on this Sunday with the owner of our server will one of you be willing to talk with him on what to expect and how to manage an insurgency/MSO server?

A few guys have been talking about doing an MSO event as Insurgents/Guerillas vs Russians... .might not happen for a month or so due to a lot of people still in school, etc That sounds fun man. I have to make a report to the other admin on the realism team at CCG today anyways. Plan on opening the server up to the public during weekdays only to close it during the weekend for meets. I will pass this by him as well. We try to play insurgency on weekends as if doing an MSO. We restrict the weapons our squad can use, set up a registration, target a location and set up an overall plan of engagement, and so forth. It has made for some very enjoyable games.
