Mikede Posted January 11, 2011 at 09:15 AM Report Share Posted January 11, 2011 at 09:15 AM You can use the Upgrade option during Windows 7 installation, which preserves your files, settings, and programs, only if you're currently running a 32-bit version of Windows Vista and you want to upgrade to the 32-bit version of Windows 7. Similarly, if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista, you can only perform an upgrade to a 64-bit version of Windows 7heres a link to more info http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/32-bit-and-64-bit-Windows-frequently-asked-questions

=VG= SavageCDN (Inactive Duty) Posted January 11, 2011 at 07:19 PM Report Share Posted January 11, 2011 at 07:19 PM Then you will need to wipe / reinstall (backup first of course). You may run into some compatibility issues with the 64bit version and older software titles - FYIDo you have > 4GB of RAM in your PC?
